There were a lot of cartoons we see as a child and to me, i missed watching them and i would love them to be shown in the movies now with better animation... like what they are doing to some of the fairy tales now(not that i like the current versions) but i really hope to be able to see and to watch cartoons such as rainbow brite and care bears come to life again! =)
Have you got yourself a cartoon you loved as a child and would want them to be shown again?

There are many examples I can think of. Here is a list of some.
Voltron- I prefer the cartoony feel of the original and not the cgi of the current Voltron Force.
Go-Bots
Mask
He Man
She Ra
Superfriends
X Men
Spiderman
Muppet Babies
Robotech
Transformers (Original G1)
Sailor Moon
These are just some of the ones I miss.

Yes they made an animated Transformers movie way back in the 1980's (1986 I think)in which Megatron killed Optimus Prime. The children that watched the movie became upset to see a beloved hero die from his wounds so the writers brought Prime back to life later in Season 3 of the Transformers.
What I would definetely like to see is the G1 Transformers revisited with some more of the storyline. I would like to see more G1 characters that Japan had that America did not.

Yeah, and I also remember Flintstones and Jetsons. Weren't they great as well? I think that the cartoons before are a lot better than those that we can see nowadays Spongebob Squarepants which makes kid have fun at the dumbness of the characters. That also goes the same with Oggy and the Cockroaches.

I think becoz I'm a Filipino I prefer all the animated series that was dubbed in Tagalog in Abs Cbn before where every stories have there own unique lessons. Alright what am I talking about, well some the examples are "Little Women II", "Remy", "Tom Sawyer", "Hucle Berry Fin", "Romeo", "Heidi", "Cinderella(the one that is modern and made in Italy)", "Mary and the Trap Family" and many more. I become nostalgic whenever I hear and see some clips in youtube of one of this animations.

Correct, I love to watch them again even I'm a young adult now, I don't know why but I really feel happy watching all these animation, maybe because they become huge part of my childhood life and they really bring important lessons. I also missed lots of "Little Women II" series before because the time slot was concurrent with my school schedule.

I loved watching Voltes V during my childhood days. I do not know if you are familiar with that. I think that was the cartoon which gave way to others cartoons who have big robots with 5 characters putting their space craft together to form a gigantic robot.
I really want to watch them again because I forgot how it did end.

I like anything Asian especially cartoons. If there was/ were cartoons that would be revived though, I would love watching Magic Knight Rayearth and Super Marionette J again.

I don't want any cartoons to be revived. I like how they look with their old-school graphics. I don't think it's going to make them that enjoyable for me. Maybe if they found some old animated movies never shown in theatres, amped up, that would be another story.

there are lots of cartoon movies that i love during my childhood days and even until now, i love watching cartoon movies. it bring me joy, overwhelmed, fantastic feelings to my heart. all of siblings in the house love watching cartoon. i love seeing them but for some reason, there is none to my desire that i want hardly much to revive it again for now. it is alright, if i i have a chance to watch it for one more time, i would be glad but if not, it is just okay. i guess because, as we grow older, there are lots of things that caught our interest and that cartoon movies are not the only one to pay our attention solely. so that is why. thanks for sharing this discussion to us :)

For me the best cartoons that I want to watch my son is the "Superbook". It's about biblical events- genesis to revelation. And it's totally full of lessons, our child will learn lots from this cartoons and as far as I know it will be aired again here in philippines this year-the great thing, it's in 3D.
But my son is only 1 year old and 9 months ,hmmp I hope he can watch that too in the future.
But of course, I also love those cartoons that is really entertaining like Tom and Jerry, Popeye,I'm sure my son will love it too:)

two of my most favorite cartoons were "Duck Tales" and "tales pin". All the episodes of duck tales are still available on various torrents. so i have downloaded the, all. I am 25 years old but still sometimes i watch them because watching these things take all kind of pressure from my head. i do hope that more episodes of these two cartoons and many others like scooby doo, captain planet etc are produced and we are able to watch them

I'll go for "super book" the animated story of bible, the kids now need to be into the right show on t.v. that showing not about fighting, magic, competition etc. I believe that what the kid saw on t.v. must affect their behavior.
