Hello there fellow myLotters!
I had been trying my luck to find a stable job on the internet. I think it has been three years(on and off) that I had been looking for better ways to earn. As I researched, I think working online is for people who are very skillful and wise. I tried my best in searching but I think it is really not for me.

I am in the same boat as you. After years of trying online job from the internet but it never materialized. More often being scammed [em]doh[/.em]. I had given up on this and only trying it again here after someone introduced mylot to me. Prior to this, I was thinking mylot is also one of the unfavourable site but I seem to have more confident with it now. I guess I will only remain at this site for the moment and not falling back to my past bad experiences for the time being [em]happy[/.em].

Ohhh... I feel so sad that you got scammed. I hope it was a learning experience for you. Anyhow, I used to think that myLot is not for me but with my patience, I was able to earn with just a few cents.

It's certainly not for everyone. I'm in the top 100 writers for Yahoo Voices. I just write one article a month now and my passive income for 1300 plus articles draws between $150 and $210 a month. I hope to double that in the next couple of years.

There's nothing to tell really. I think I have a link on my profile but I'm not sure. I've been writing orofessionally since 2007 and its just this year since I've been making $150 plus a month. It's only open to people in USA and limited to people in Canada.

Don't be discouraged queen, I know you will find something that suits your ability. There are many jobs on line that do pays well too, but we should not rely on it as our primary source of income because earnings on line is not stable not like if you have offline job. Why don't you try article writing, I know there are many online sites that offers the job. To be honest, I do find your sentence construction suited for the said job, if you get what I mean.

Thank you for the compliment stanley777! Yes, I do believe that when it comes to the English language I am confident with it, but when it comes to the writing skills; I'm very hesitant with it. I'm on the process of improving my grammar and knowledge in English.

If you think that those people who has skills are given more opportunities online, then why not improve your skills or learn new things as well to be able to help you have a better opportunity to work online?

That's the way how to deal with it! Learn how to make yourself better if you really want to write articles on line. And being active here at Mylot could greatly help you.

Hello Crazie,
There is as such no stable job on internet but of course there many things to do on the sites which may earn you a bit of money but for that you need to investigate about the sites before joining them as there are lots of sites which are scam.

i am interested to seek job online, but to my disappointment, i cannot find a good job that suits me. all of it required high skills in computer literacy or even english proficiency and such. i do not know where to stand or the level of my skill fits to the standard of the applied - want - to - be job online. it is very hard to apply job online

Hello there missjahn!
Yes, it's really very hard to look for a job that suits your qualification. But I do believe with patience and passion in what we do we can search a job that we like.

As I have said many times before, earning "spare change" online is very easy. Earning an income from home online is a whole different ball game that, more often than not, takes lots of patience, trial and error, as well as a ton of persistence and planning.
I can see perfectly well where it would not be a commitment that everyone feels they can make. Some people may also have the drive, but not the interest, and would therefore rather direct their energies towards something they feel is a better fit for them.
I, for one, am determined to find a sure way to make it work because I like the flexibility in my schedule, and I would very much like to tie in money-making efforts with the things I am most passionate about, and I see working online as a creative way to do this.
You're right in your observation that it is not for everyone, though. But also don't forget that one day you may just come up with an idea that could very well be a lucrative online money maker.

All work required on the internet has something to do with skills you can do in the internet. There are many actually. You can do such things as web designing, writing, marketing affiliates, blogging and Many more.

I agree with you. I do not have a job outside from home and I also realized that working online is for those people who are professional and skilled people. I have less skill. No one hires me on Odesk.com. I try many work online, but still the money is not enough. Now, I see my sister who works outside from home earn a guaranteed pay and she's the one who helps here when it comes to paying bills. I, for one, the elder sister still have no money to contribute for my family and it is all because I depend too much on work online.
It is so embarassing, but still, I do not have guts to prove to them that I can earn a living online besides, if earning a living online means you are going to invest money too. Yes. For example, affiliate marketing, blogging, buying a domain -- all of them required the initial investment unlike a job offline, its a free investment.
Its a guaranteed pay every month which really helps us pay the bills if we're going to work offline.

Yeah I know what you mean. I have been trying to find something that works well online for two years now. It is very hard to find something that pays decent for what we are able to do. But it is also hard working outside the home for those who have children and can't afford daycare cost.

Hello there, have you tried odesk, which is the world's largest online workplace? Since I am currently out of school, I am planning to find a really stable somehow high-paying, if not somehow decent enough compared to my small earnings online part-time job, and like my cousin, odesk is a good place to find online jobs. Nevertheless, I honestly prefer selling products personally but would practically promote them online as well.

I don't think anything like stable job exists on the internet. There are several ways of making money online and earning some extra cash, but I guess there is no stability unless you are running your own business with a team of highly skilled professionals and a vast network. And this is certainly not everyone's cup of tea not even mine.

Finding a job online is difficult, and finding one that pays even decently is even harder. Working online is definitely not for everyone, and it is a good thing that you have come to figure out that you don't feel suited for it. This means that you can begin or heighten your job search offline.

Hi Crazies, if you can work offline, and make more money, you should do that, and keep online activities as a hobby.
For one thing, you will have more benefits that come with full time job, and you have insurance coverage too.
You can make some money online, and save as your retirement fund.
I think it is better that you work offline, and online, so that you do not stay home all the time.

I agree with you that it's really hard to search for online works that could satisfy our financial needs. I'm a mom at home and working online is only my way to earn an extra. Apparently,my income here can't suffice all the expenses at home. Its really just for extra. But I am still happy with what I earn,it's still a big help on my side. I've tried many things online and after more than a year, I didn't know that I will become a writer and to tell you frankly, writing is now one of my online jobs. But still, I don't earn that big.

With the current state of the economy everywhere, the competition for online jobs is as tough as the ones offline. People are becoming more and more creative in marketing their expertise and of course since the competition is fierce, the employers will take advantage and offer a much lower pay. Any takers, which more often than not there are, just suck it up until they can find something else better.

Yes working online is not for everyone, it can get really hard at times, when you are looking to make, some good money in it, it's hard to make big bucks here, on some of these web sites, they will promise you big money, but you won't see it.

Hello there!
I beg to disagree that working online is only for those who are skillful and wise. Working online is the same as ordinary work, the only difference is that you are staying at home. I think though that because online workers are growing rapidly these days and more people are resorting to the Internet, the competition is getting stiff, thus making it hard to find a job.
Though personally, I still think that working online is only a means to add something extra on your current income, unless you have tons of freelancing jobs :)
