Micro Oven ...... How often u use to cook in Micro Oven ?

I never cook or defrost at the miccrowave oven. I heat rice, melt butter, make popcorn and that`s about it. I much prefer the real range or my small electric oven.I would never heat anything with wheat in it as it gets leathery

I use it every single day, but usually for heating up things. Maybe once in a while for making a microwave mug chocolate cookie, or a packet of popcorn.

Once a week. We don't cook in there except maybe potatoes and the occasional movie popcorn. Once out of desperation for chocolate we made cake in mug. Other than that its used for as the heat/reheat/thaw machine.

I just use my microwave oven to reheat foods really fast for me. But most of the time I just use my electric stove to reheat my foods as well. I like to make the instant cook soups or popcorn in my microwave oven. I don't think there is anything dangerous or unhealthy about using the microwave oven to cook foods. I am sure you can find some microwave recipes online on the Internet.

Well as far as my knowledge goes, food that r cooked with micro wave oven do not taste good as it kills most of the nutrients present in the cooked food. Besides food that r cooked on gas stove or cooking station tastes better and r good for health. Otherwise u can prepare cookies, cakes, pastries using the micro wave oven that cannot be prepared on gas stoves.

Other than reheating, it is great for melting butter or chocolate when I want to make some cakes. I also use it to boil vegetables. Use a microwave oven safe container, add some water in it. Put your vegetables in it, cover with lid and heat it. If you can get hold of a microwave steamer, there is much more you can do. It is a plastic container with 2 layers. The bottom is to be filled up with water. The upper layer is a rack and comes with a lid.

I have a microwave in my kitchen. I use it twice to four times daily. It is excellent for cooking rice, heating up soup, making chips and popping corn. I don't use my regular cooker all that much.
