I have seen mostly in some Asian countries people used to make diffrences between a girl and a boy. many family here are against having girl child. and after a lady give birth to a girl, their in laws misbehave with them.
i even have seen kind of families who make diffrences between their daughters and sons....
do you make difference on them?
why?
or why not?
ever seen families like that who make difference in that way? how they behave? to whom they behave better?

No I don't. My son has to cook, clean, wash dishes,do the laundry, he can knit, sew, make great jewelry plus he is tecnical as well (repairing things, builing robots, a bike, etc etc) and just like all of us he is very creative and can make great drawings. He knows we are not his waitresses and he should respect women since without women their is no life. Personally I like daughters more so I am happy I have 4. My son is crazy about his sisters as well and very close with them.
I talk/chat/discuss with him exactly the same things as I do with his sisters. No matter if it's about money (issues), education, vacation, health issues (incl. the female ones). Girls are a big treasure.

In our place most times from as a child we used to clean our clothes ourselves and also sometimes do cooking. I also likes to help my wife in cooking and also other things. In fact here men are best cook and sometimes they are proud to say that they do make tastier foods and do make them for the guests when the visit them.

It's not as blatent here, but many men want a son. It doesn't matter which birth order, but here, women usually adopt a different family name on marriage so preserving the family name is often the motivation for wanting a male birth. As I understand a marriage in Asia often requires needing a dowry lt is cheaper to have a boy.

maybe dawry is a reason but as in india, to become a mother in law and make force on younger girls is a proud then maybe they would prefer son as he will make money for family with his marriage and another benefits...

I am from India. In our country most of the people have this kind of differences, because we have dowry system. The parents of the bride must give a lot of money, jewels and other necessary things to the bride groom at the time of marriage, so only lot of parents hate daughters. But this kind of partiality is now good. We must give equal importa.nce to both man and woman.

that is too bad, but in my country it is totally opposite, mostly men pay a lot to wife. I do not think if lady should pay for men.... that is something strange..

In Asian Countries (including India) it is quite common that family tend to encourge boys more than girls in everything whether it studies, sports ,Marriage or career related desisions but i must admit there is huge improvement in India.
Govt along with people are taking some steps to improve the life of the Girls but ideal condition and environment is little far away.
Women are getting more exposure and encouragement in every field.

Due to the lack of education. General people believe is that when girls are married they go to their husband house and do not look after them (the girl parents). Slowly the trend is changing as women also starting to join the carrier and started to earn. with their own money to spend they also look after their parents when needed. I think education and the role of the woman plays a vital role on this.

Can't even make a difference between them. It is unfair, but as you told, it is the truth.

I never make any differences between them my girls and boy. Comparisons is not gOod. I treated them fairly. It is so easy because girl has a big difference to a boy.

I am an Asian and am proud of my daughter, my only child. She can outclass 10 boys any day the way she has been brought up. We are no longer the same what we used to be a couple of decades back. Girls are doing far better in every field these days in my country. Cheers.

for me there is no difference between boys and girls, because they are both human and should not mistreated. i want my kids to grow up having respect to each other whether it is a boy or a girl, i want them to learn to have faith in God so that they will afraid of to do wrong things.

I think what is making difference between human is how much one is much better and more understanding. we should be in competition of being better from others.

No. This differentiation is against the rules of nature or God. However when both son and daughter love equally to us then why this differentiation? Both have same attachment to us so we should also have. Now in India it is observed that daughters are more caring about their old age parents as compared to Sons. Hence we should love the girl child equally to the boys or sons.

I am agree with you, there is no difference between a girl and a boy. and reality is that when parents are old, daughter is more caring and loving parents. I have seen those who make difference between their children, they receive their punishment with their boys, in elderly age.

I think education, IQ, culture, etc plays role in people's personality. I think people who live in some community things that there are lots of differences between girls and boys and things that boys are better than girls. I think it is mainly due to the less education and less wisdom and less mental state. I think people who are more wisdom who has more common sense will believe that both girls and boys are good and do look after both girls and boys alike. In our place in Kerala, India most families like both girls and boys and consider both of them alike.
