its interesting when you are expecting another baby and the questions the kids will ask you.we visited my sister in law who is pregnant and my daughter asked if she will get a baby because her stomach is too big.are we honest about questions raised by kids when we are pregnant or when they ask about pregnancy?some people lie they buy kids from supermarket opting to avoid deep answers, others tell kids they came from heaven i actually had someone explain they swallowed a baby and soon the baby will come out.what weird tales do you give your kids in regards to pregnancy?

When I was pregnant with my second child my oldest was only 10 months old. So when we found out about our son and every day till she left to stay with my in laws I told her mama is having a baby and when we found out his gender I told her this your brother and his name. She didn't understand I was pregnant or where the baby is coming form and so on. My husband says that I was just very good at hiding her red ball under my shirt.

I was pretty honest with any questions but kept it age appropriate. The kids didn't really have a lot of questions till they were a bit older so it was easier to explain it.

Honestly, when I was pregnant with my son, I didn't tell any lies to my older daughter, but I also didn't tell her the whole truth.
What I mean is that I had a couple false alarms and she went with us to the hospital so she was able to see part of how it was working in the IV and the baby monitor and all of that stuff.
She didn't know exactly how the baby got inside me, but I did explain to her how it was going to come out and things like that. This might be appropriate to many people, but my daughter is very gifted and I never felt that it was right to keep the truth from her.

My kids never really asked questions when I got pregnant. They were just excited to feel the baby kick. If and when the time comes that they do ask I will tell them at a kids level. I won't lie but obviously I won't go into details...

I don't have a kid as of yet. If I had one and expected another one, I wouldn't tell them ridiculous lies like I've bought the kid or the stork brought the child. I would tell them the truth, just not naturalistically. Like the baby is in my belly, and it's going to come out of it.

My son was 12 years old and he understood when I told him I was pregnant. My disabled son was born in 2007 and he wasn't talking until he was at preschool aged 3 years old. I got pregnant in 2008 and my baby daughter was born in 2009.
Yesterday I bought two new tops for my son. My daughter was at a gymnastics class. She asked for more clothes and I told her money is limited and that people have less pounds because things cost more than they used to. She told me to buy some more pounds.
My disabled son's special needs assistant has recently mentioned that she is pregnant. I know my son said her tummy is getting big because she has a baby inside it. He doesn't know how her baby got in there.

actually most of the kids want to have an another brother or sister especially when they are only son or only daughter, they want to have another baby so that they can play the baby while its growing up,and some children hates to have another sister or brother because they feel that their parents will love more the new born baby.
