Just this afternoon, we had a 4v4 pub game match in a nearby internet cafe. Then I was acting as the captain on my team and I decided to backdoor on of the tower of the enemy. Then our rivals started shouting and mocking our tactic. They said it was something cowardly and a disgraceful act. But as for me and my team, its a strategy .
What do you think?

Well, that is cowardly, or other people say like *gaay* or whatever, cos it isn't fair, anyway it's still depends on how you play, a cheater type or, a fair type,
Backdooring is one of the most annoying act on playing dota, that is why they really hate those type of person -.-

If you try to search it in the net, if the rule of the game is pretty silent, then backdooring is allowed. Most tourneys are even quoting it as a strategy. Furthermore, you cannot just backdoor enemy towers if you do not have sufficient amount of damage.

I do not do it all the time, it really depends upon the situation :) Specially when our team doesn't have any more choice to win :) I can say its really out of desperation ahaha

GoodLuck and GodBless! Enjoy Backdooring

Backdooring tower means you hit the tower without support from creeps, CMIIW
If it's true, the tower should have somekind of backdoor protection, you know, it will regenerate it's hp and it is omg fast...
But dude, if you have enough amount of attack so you can destroy that regenerating tower, then it's legal... it don't violate any rules..... but maybe cause a hatred and anger in opponent team haha, they wont pay respect to you haha

I think so too. I just find those people complaining about backdooring pretty ignorant to the game mechanics. Of course I would be stupid to backdoor it if I do not have any damage but rather go for it if its the only way to win and to somehow turn the game upside down. In my previous reply to this discussion, due to desperation, players resolve to backdooring.

Are you kidding me? Even in certain tournaments, backdooring is practiced unless its prohibited by the rules
