I read an article today by Phil Kerpen who is pointed out the failures of Obamacare has it is getting rolled out.

1. The Obama administration has canceled the Class Act which dealt with long term care.
2. Pre-Existing Conditions, applications are not being accepted anymore. Only a small percentage of the people will actually be able to get this conditions. This was one of the main selling point of Obamacare that pre-existing conditions would go away. No it is being rationed out. Is this a sign of the rest of the health care, that it may have to be rationed, too?
3. Medical Device Tax has been repealed by 74 senators (including 34 democrats).
4. Exchanges have been set up by only 50% of the states. The rest of the states have elected to allow the federal government the work to set it up. This was the main meat of Obamacare that the states would cover a lot of Obamacare, but 50% have turned the system down.
5. Insurance companies are warning that a premiums will jump. This worse for the youth because discounts for the youth will go away.
6. Obama administration delayed the writing of many of the regulation until after the election. This has caused a delay in the implementation.
7. Waivers adn supplements, Low income people will have to fill out a 21 page application to apply for financial suppliment. Many will find that while working 40 hours a week, they may not qualify for supplements. This may lead to some cutting back on their work hours in order to qualify for health insurance supplements.
Obamacare is a massive change and a big undertaking. It is supposed to start by 2014, but it appears to be behind schedule on many aspect.
I guess, in familiar words to that of Nancy Pelosi. We may have to what until it is implemented to see what it is all about.

Back in 2010 Sen. Coburn said that the Democrats intentionally set up Obamacare to FAIL.

Recently, Orin Hatch said the same thing.

Obama, Reid, Pelosi...all of them have said the ultimate goal is to have a single payer plan. Conservatives tried to warn the country this monstrosity wouldn't work. We were labeled haters for it. We were painted as waging a war on women, we were depicted as hating minorities and the poor. Classic Sal Alinsky attack methods. And I can't help but point out, the Cloward Pivens Strategy is working wonderfully. Overwhelm and collapse the system, then install total government control of people through the welfare state.

Congratulations, you've just taken the proverbial red pill.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=take%20the%20blue%20pill
From the first Matrix movie. Taking the red pill opens the soon-to-be Neo's eyes to the fantasy that he had been living in. Morpheus says to Neo "You have to understand that many people are not ready to be unplugged, and many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it."
Contrast with taking the blue pill. If Neo would have taken the blue pill, he would have stayed within the Matrix and been blind to reality.
Morpheus asks pre-Neo Keanu to take the red pill. As Neo reaches for the red pill Morpheus warns Neo "Remember, all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more."

Oh yes! I have no doubt we will have to what until it's implemented to see what it's all about! I just hope it is not too much of a shock!! We can see the nanny state governments of Europe starting to have troubles. It's not hared, anyway to see the trend bound to happen. already I hear people say "why should I workd and pay for everything so expensive, plus pay for other people's stuff by the huge chunks known as taxes out of my paycheck? Perhaps I should be one of the ones collecting! instead of paying, paying!"
Doesn't work, never has.. The movie "Atlas Shrugs" and how the Soviet Union collapsed are sure signs of how it works.

..and just how insane IS that?! Passing bills before they're written! And to some it makes perfect sense! The gullibility of folks and the pro government sentiment I see these days from formerly anti-establishment types is mind boggling.

I'm not an American but from what I've heard its bound to fail. I think its just one of those things politicians do. Start something that is great on the surface and when it fails, which they know it will, just pass on the blame. Its not practical and it screws up the insurance people.

Because of Obamacare, medicare benefits have been cut as well. How I know this is because I have a friend that is wheelchair bound and because of the cuts to medicare her home health nurse had to cut her hours to care for this lady. So it looks like Obamacare has already started to ration services to the disabled.

Actually in this specific instance, the problem is that the government doesn't have any money. There's nothing that I know of in Obamacare that directly relates to the situation you describe.
The fact is, our government is broke. Welcome to government run anything. If you rely on the government for your well being, when the government is broke, so are you.

No, it has been failing for a long, long time. That it was not failing was just a Mockingbird Media ruse.

I sure don't know what to expect. I keep asking anyone that has anything to do with the medical field as to what they think is going to happen and they all tell me, "I don't know." I suppose like taxes we can be sure it is going to cost us a lot more with less service.
