I think it's too bizarre. If I have my own milk, why am I not feeding that? If I, because of any problems, can't give my baby my own milk, I would try to get him some healthier alternatives, like organic baby purees, but not something powdered or instant, because I don't think that is good for the baby.

Well, as far as I know, there is no way anyone could ever do this, and if they could, they would be rich. But personally since this is something with a short shelf life unless refrigerated will never happen.

but if they can do it with cow's milk, how come they can't do it from mother's milk?

If there is such a thing, I would not have any problem in feeding my baby with it. There are many women who do not have enough milk to feed their child and have to recuss to formulas made with milk from other mammals. In that case, many times the baby has problems digesting it.

I am not sure if that is possible, although with the technology that we have, people may be able to come up with that. Although, I am not sure how they can make it as pure mother's milk as possible in making it in that form. If a lot would consider giving it for their babies? I am really not sure how people would react to it. But one thing I know, I won't be giving my kid that kind of milk. But maybe that is the only option for mothers who have inverted nipples and are not able to produce such milk just to be able to give the necessary immunity that babies need. I wonder if the technoloogy would really be able to preserve the colostrum.....
