Use a good traffic exchange program. If you are an Indian, use Indiblogger. It will help you get more visitors to your blog. But it is not a traffic exchange program.

Bad idea, IMHO. Traffic exchanges are filled with people who want traffic and don't give a hoot about your site. It'll increase your hits but it won't increase your readership, reach or clout.

Spike, i never said Traffic Exchanges are good. Lol. There's this site for people of India - Indiblogger and it is very good. It is not a traffic exchange. Just a pure blogging site.

You could use a traffic exchange but like it was said before you won't really get a whole lot of attention from doing it that way.
Join a list mailer such as listnerds or LeadsLeap; They are free to use and could help drive some traffic to your blog.
You should also try networking with other blog owners; maybe doing some guest posts so you may interest more readers from other sites.

Do a quick search. There are THOUSANDS of articles about this subject everywhere online. It's one of the most written about subjects in the world, as far as I can tell! Heck, I've even written one myself.

Actually if you are not good in technical matter well i can recommend you an easy way to promote your blog with unique visitors. You can create a video in youtube then include the link to your blog but you can use URL shortener so that it would not be that a very long link.
