Do you feel happy to be a stay-at-home mom?

I'm not a mother as of yet. But I wouldn't be a stay-at-home mom. First of all, I would feel going crazy if I had to stay at home with the kid(s) all the time, not actually working and meeting people (only if I went to the supermarket or the post office). Also, in these days, you can't know if you gonna divorce or if your husband gonna die young... and I don't wanna be vulnerable, without any money and proper, valuable work experiences.

I stay home with my children and I have a Childcare Business out of my home. This way I am making money but I also get to stay home with my kids! I also Home School my children which I LOVE doing as well! I have the best of both worlds because I make money and I get to stay home... If you can pay your bills and stay home it is awesome! =) Find something you can do from home to bring in some money. That will solve the problem.

When my son was little I had to work, out side the home because I needed, to pay my rent, and my light bill, and I needed to eat and there was, no one there to help me so I had to do everything, my self and it was very hard, I am so glad my son is older now, and he has 2 kids of his own, and I am willing to help out, any way that I can, buying clothes for my grand children, taken then to the park, just having a good time with them.

I am a stay-at-home mom and I have never been this happy. There are disadvantages of course because being a stay-at-home mom is not financially rewarding. But what I do is to look for various ways in order to earn money for myself, like joining myLot and getting an online job thru Odesk. It may not be a big amount but at least I do earn. Plus, I get to take care of my daughter and witness all of her milestones :) If you want to be a stay-at-home mom, evaluate whether your husband can support your family. Talk to him and ask him about his opinion. Being a stay-at-home is not an easy job as others may perceive.
