Would you fancy wearing bright colored trousers/denims?

Just last week I've ordered an olive green trousers through online shopping site. I happened to fancy wearing them on bright sunny day, with a pair of bright colored moccasins to team up with. Although, they may look ridiculous on some but I guess if you can carry them off well they look cool on most people. I'd think women can carry them off so well, without having to be remarked on, but men. But, they say, "The key to wearing colored trousers is to pull off any color with confidence and feel masculine." I am really hoping I'd pull this off so I do not get passed off as a joke. I am sure some of you may fancy wearing them. So which color will you pick?

I used to own a lovely pair of red trousers, now red is my favourite colour and wearing red gives me the added confidence, however my partner used to tell me that I looked stupid in red trousers, so I stopped wearing them. Your discussion has made me think again about buying myself a pair of red trousers, I ditched the partner, so now I can wear them without anyone criticizing me. Although I am much older now, I wonder if I can wear them without feeling too self-conscious.

I think it depends on the shade and who's wearing it. I mean, I might be conservative, but I always cringe if I see pink trousers on men, because I don't think that's masculine. But other bright colored trousers are okay, if I really feel that it suits the style and the personality the person who's wearing it, and if it fits the colors of the other things he or she's wearing. I don't like it when someone just throws a bunch of vibrant and not matching colors just to be trendy. As for colored trousers, I love royal blue, I think that shade can be really well built in a wardrobe.

Clothes depend a lot on where you live and what you do. I am 67 years old yet I wear all and everything that I feel comfortable with. In Summer I wear colored sandals and bright clothes, in Winter I wear clothes that are darker with a lot of wool to keep me warm. I don`t mind seeing men with coloured clothes. What I do mind in women and men is if they look untidy or unclean.

i was out yesterday and i saw a guy in black shirt, black jeans and bright pink belt. i blinked to make sure i saw the right color and just smiled at how "free" we are now to wear what we want.
i did wear light-colored jeans when i was still studying. when i started working, i preferred slacks than skirts because it's easier when you commute to work. on casual days, i would wear my colored jeans, but this time it's darker like maroon, dark green, gray and blue-green.
i liked moccasins and loafers, too.
