I caught a cold

It made me feel really tired, and I found it so difficult to get up in the morning. My wife had got breakfast ready, but I didn't want to eat at all.I had no food desire, and there must be something wrong with my digestion.I felt my head very heavy, and also a little hot.Meanwhile,I was trembling and feeling cold though I was still in bed. I didn't know why I got cold, because the weather was warm these days. But I knew I couldn't go to work today.I would take some medicine and drink some water.I had to stay at home and just rest.It made me a little frustrated. Do you have some similar experiences?

I don't usually get a cold. My problem is headache. I have a headache very easily if I stay up late without having a good rest or sleep. Each time when I have a headache, I will take a capsule to get rid of it. Otherwise it will get worse. Years ago, I had a terrible high fever and I had no appetite for food. After seeing a doctor in a traditional Chinese hospital for some iv, I got improved. So from then on, I have been careful not to catch a cold.

Yes so hard to have colds , head is so heavy , food were tasteless and muscles are in pain. The best thing to combat colds are to drink plenty of water , take daily Vitamin C and have an adequate rest and regular exercise.

You must be having flu. Just stay in bed and take lots of liquids. It will be gone in a day or two. Just remember to take analgesics if fever starts. Get Well soon!

Luckily , i think i am healthier this year because i haven' catch a cold yet nor had a flu. But last night my husband and i both felt that our throat is a bit going sore. So we both gargled lukewarm water with some salt and this morning we again repeated it, even if it's already okay. I am glad the sore throat didn't push through. Get well soon , friend.

I don't but my husband does have the same experience. I think the extremes in temperatures these days have caused his immune system weakened, hence his vulnerability to sore throat and coughs. Be extra careful when you're out there in very warm or humid weather, then get instantly exposed to very cold environment. Avoid the extremes.

Yes, cold can caused by the weather, but if your stamina is low, it allows you caught a cold. I think it is a good idea if you take a rest from job and stay at home to take medicines and return your health. Try to face this condition as the best time to give a rest for your body, don't you frustration, cold is a signal from your body that it want to have a rest.

I guess the weather is changing thats why. I also did not notice that all of a sudden I got a runny nose. But the weather is like getting warm. I wonder if it is because of the pollen from the flowers its spring in here or because of the dust from work. Anyway whenever I have a cold all I do is drink a lot of water.. And eat lots of fruit. I dont like taking medicine because it makes me feel drowzy. And sometimes i just feel.like its making me worst. Hope you will get better soon^^

Things like that happen to us once in a while. That is okay I know you will get well. Your body is just releasing the virus that you've got that's why you feel hot. Just relax and don't stress yourself too much. Take a day off from work. Take your medicines on time but it is important to eat something before taking them. I hope you will be fine soon.

I feel you. Last week I was down with cold as well. Still recovering from it. Like you, I did not take any day off from work. The warm weather is making us sick. One minute you're sweating outside, another minute you walk to somewhere cool with fan or air-conditioning. The sweat has no time to dry, therefore we catch a cold.

Of course I had got a cold before. And my cold usually relates to my work/study stress. In my busy days, it is more likely for me get ill. It makes me feel more stressful because I know I cannot work efficiently as usual then. What's more, I always forgot to take the pills, which sometimes makes the thing more severe.

The uncertainty in weather could cause one to be fall sick. I guess if you boost up your immunity you will not be easily defeated by the virus that is in the air. It is common for many to catch cold nowadays. Drinking more warm clean water is the best. So, do take care of your health and build up your immune system. We are having hot and humid atmosphere here. It is very uncomfortable. I too, need to drink more warm and clean water and take fruit juices and relevant vitamins to fight against the virus. Being in health is the best I would want to be!
