We are having our first anniversary this year, too, in May! :D I'm going to make a scrapbook for my boyfriend, and I'm going to give some chocolates and some experience gift tickets for the two of us (most likely we are going to go minigolfing).

Thats such a sweet idea. Maybe I'll get some tickets for us to do something, I was thinking a movie (which he likes to go do) and maybe something outside like minigolf or even the local drive in if they are open yet. I used to be big into scrapbooking but lately I've been so bad about even taking pictures, thats going to be my resolution, start taking pics again and by our five year, hopefully a scrapbook will be possible. :-)

Plan a celebration with a few friends. He will see it as a step closer from your side towards a stronger relationship. If you are looking at marriage plan to introduce him to your folks too.

Thanks for the ideas. He has met my parents, we had to stay there for a few weeks while we transitioned into our own place. I'll probably keep it low key!

Go travel another place for you to spend a lot of time together on your anniversary. Also visit places memorable to both of you like the place where your first met. Recall the exact scenario how you guys meet since doing this will help you realize that meeting him for the first time was just like yesterday. Give him something special. It doesn't really matter how expensive or inexpensive your gift is as long as it is something that he will truly appreciate. Write him a letter saying how thank you you are that he came to your life. Write special things. I hope you will have fun on your anniversary.

yes, it is very nice to celebrate your first year anniversary. I think make a romantic dinner and give a special gift will make your relationship more nice. Take a romantic short vacation, I think it also a good idea. Try to find the activity that you and your boyfriend will enjoy it. Have a nice day, friend...

Hello Angel3yes, you and your boyfriend have been through many ups and downs. Maybe you can draw pictures about things happened in last year between you, or gather you photoes to make photo album. Let him know how important he in your life, and you love him.
