I believe this is that kind of question which everybody askes to himself at least once in life. We born, grow up, study, maybe find a job, get a family, have childrens and then when the time arrives we die.. Is this all? Or is there greater purpose?
Some people find their purpose in helping others, others find their purpose in faith, some people just think there is no purpose.. Woah, but what gives you the strenght to go on if you believe this is just all?
I'm curious to know your opinions, mine is that we are all pilgrims on this earth. We are here and we don't have much time. In my opinion God has created us, and he has also put a question mark inside of us, this curiousity to discover the truth, because he wants us to search for Him and maybe find him. I think that it does much difference if we believe there is life after death or not, because we would no longer live this life like an end in itself but having a bigger purpose and reicognizing we have to invest not only for our bodies but even for our souls. Feel free to share your opinion!

It says everything has its own reason. God has its own purpose. Even if those people that have no purpose in life, still God has its own purpose why people have to be that way. People ask themselves, its because they do not understand and some of them are not satisfied and so, they ask question. People were created by God because he has a plan to all of us.

Yes I do believe he has a plan for everyone too, but I believe he has given us free will, so he has given us the ability to take decisions about our future and deciding if we want to discover and accomplish his will for our life or not. We can discover his will be reading His Word which is the Bible, but it stands to us taking this decision

I always think about it, and I don't exactly know what to think, because I don't even know what should be called a greater purpose. I think most people have missions in their lives, or, well, that's what I believe... but some people may have bigger missions, like helping out others with great inventions or really excessive charity work. I think everyone is here for a reason - if not for anything, just to be the soul mate of another person, or be important in someone else's life. But I'm not that sure about people who die really young... so that's why I'm kind of torn in this subjects.

Yes, I believe everybody is free to decide if looking for an higher purpose or don't think about it, personally I believe it can be life changing if you find the true purpose of existence, because you would live all life differently.

Well if i say that i have found a purpose in my life, I would be entirely wrong. And whether i even intend on finding it - I even can't say that. Well man is a social animal and i feel that the purpose of my life is to contribute to the society in a positive way. Every person has a different role to play in a society and hence a different way of contribution. Right now, my only purpose in life is to never let down a person who is dependent on me in any way (big or small) - family members, friends, colleagues, clients etc. I'm very happy and satisfied with my current roles and fulfilling my duties. I feel that maybe this is the purpose of my life. But if there is a still higher purpose, I hope i find it soon and with God's grace, i will be able to fulfill it

Good to hear this abhi333. I believe that those who search will find, like even it's written in the Bible. So never stop searching for the purpose of your life. And thank's for sharing with us

Hi,
You are right. Everyone has this question in mind what is the purpose of our life. It is said that God has created us for a reason. But what is the reason? I get confused by these questions. But My wife and I try to help others as far as possible, monetarily, physically or emotionally. It is very different feeling that we are useful for others and we can make them happy. we should be honest in our life and I think God is always with those who are honest.

Thank you for sharing Roshigo. I believe he has created us because he would like us to live with him. But we have free will to decide if dedicating our lives to him or not in this earth, because love is genuine only when spontaneous and not forced. So if he created us like robots doing his will it would be not a genuine love from us.
It's nice you and your wife do your best to help others, I believe this life has a bigger meaning if we spend it to help and maybe change the life of another person

As what I've learned in our Philosophy, life's purpose is as simple as the daily tasks you are accomplishing in your day to day encounter. You decisions and action made up your life and composes the purpose of your life.

I have always believed that God created us to have a relationship with Him. Not a master-slave relationship but first and foremost, a Father-Son/Daughter relationship. Knowing that God loves me unconditionally is the reason that I am able to go through life's difficulties. It may sound a cliche to some but it is true, at least for me.

I completely agree with you witty. And even in life difficulties if we trust in Him we can learn incredible lessons for our lives and become better people
