So we’ve had snow. In march.
Rather strange considering this time last year we were actually in a heat wave haha!
The snow was so so high that it was almost 6 foot deep in some parts!
See link below, not a referral but a news link.

Have you ever had very strange unexpected weather?
Snow in march?
What do you think of this?

For longer than I remember we have never had snow as late as the end of March, usually once February has gone we have seen the last of the snow, evidently not, the most laughable thing is that this coming Sunday we put the clocks forward, on the calendar it's marked as being Summer time begins! Summer time? They are joking, it's sill mid-winter!

oh I completely agree. As I write this it's obviously June (sorry for the late response I was away for a while) and we had a week long heatwave that is now completely gone. However, it didn't just go and leave normal slightly cool summer weather.. it left and left us with flooding rain lol! ..

I live in North Somerset in England and parts of my home country have been steep in snow. It is such a pity there has been 6 foot deep snow in some areas of Northern Ireland. The weather has been bitterly cold and superbly windy. It has been miserable and has been feeling freezing cold. Today it was 3 to 5 degrees compared to 1 degree to into the minuses. Snow in March was common when I lived in Kent. I used to live in a village close to Canterbury. We had snow in many of the winters. It is due to global warming all this strange weather.

New England is known for strange weather. We have had snow in April and May so it's hard to say spring is here just yet. Today is the first time in days I woke up to the sun and not clouds and rain or snow. I can't wait for spring!

Here in Northern America, we sometimes get snow, but it rarely accumulates, until this year. You got a lot more than we did, we only got 3 inches, but I saw cities east of me got 8 inches of snow. This storm came in Sunday, but we got the worse of it overnight into Monday. Ironically Saturday was nice, sunny and 40 degree F, but by Sunday until Tuesday, it was like a whole different climate. I am sharing a picture I took on Monday and now almost all that snow is gone and by this Sunday, it is suppose to be in the 60s.

Here lately it has been unusually cold for March! I cannot believe it has been so cold here in the state I live in. Last year at this time we were in the 70's all the time in March. This year has been very cold which is so weird. Hopefully it will warm up soon because I am ready for the warm weather again. =)

In my country, it has snowed, too. Now, it has already stopped, but it has been snowing for 3 days non-stop. This is really unexpected weather at the end of March. I'm really eager to have some fine nicer weather. I have enough of the bulky winter coats and the muddy-murky streets with the dirty "snow juice/rain". Especially since yesterday I had to go to so many appointments in the city, and I don't have a car... so I was walking all the day in my cheap little boots which got soaking wet, with the snow continuously falling. Oh, and huge blocks of snow keep on falling from the trees and the buildings. I'm really cautious, so I don't walk near those sides of the street where there are buildings with ginormous amounts of snow on them, but I got really scared when a block of snow which was twice as large as my head fell off a building right in front of my eyes. The worst is that these blocks of snow can contain ice in them, and they could even cause brain damage or head aches and injuries if they fall on you.

Hi,
We never have snow in our city. the minimum temperature in our city is 6 or 8 degree Celsius. It must be very cold in your city.

I remember, many years oge, when I went to my Aunt's wedding and it was a truly white affair.
She had a white dress, a white bridal car and a carpet of white snow.
And this was in Worcestershire, UK in July.
So march snow is a bad thing and highly unusual for Britain, but by no means unheard of.
