Avoid Being Sick

I have recently gotten the 24 hour stomach bug. It is nasty and annoying, yet I seem to be getting it more and more lately. This may be redundant, but here is some advice. Wash your hands very frequently. Don't share food. Clean your common surfaces thoroughly. Eat less in each sitting, with more meals a day. Drink at least eight tall glasses of water throughout each day. I know that this is common knowledge, but just to be sure people are aware. This is the time of year for people to start getting sick with the repopulating bacteria. Stay healthy! Please add more suggestions below if you have any.

You can catch it whatever you do. But handwashing, etc. can make it less likely and, on average, your infections less frequent. Remember too, that stomach bugs are also viral, e.g. Noroviruses, including the Norwalk Virus, which I tell people was so named because you no walk you run. They don't believe me.

But console yourselves with this: If you get the runs, you will be the envy of the England cricket team.
