I miss cooking my own food which is healthier and cheaper than buying food from the hospital canteen which is expensive and unhealthy but i have no choice. How i wish our home near to the hospital were i can cook healthy meals most of the time.

Why not buy an induction cooker. I just rent a small room near my workplace and I bought an induction cooker. The price of the cooker is not that expensive and I don't have to worry about buying gas. I can cook the food I want. Consider buying it, it does not consume to move electric energy plus it is much more safe than gas stove.

The hospital doesn't allow to bring any electric appliances and only personal gadgets are allowed. Thanks

I wholly agree with you. And maybe we can find good food at a decent restaurant. But in my experience, hospitals compete as to which has worse food. A year and a half ago, I was at the hospital for one week due to a virus I got from my granddaughter. I had low defences so I was quite ill. But at the end, I told my oncologist that cancer would not kill me, but hospital food would. She sent me home

I am hoping that hospitals will sell healthy foods too so that we can enjoy it without any guilt. Thanks

I know what you mean. And I just don't get it, it is a hospital their canteen must be at least catering to those dishes or food that are prepared in a very healthy way, or at least healthy to begin with. But no. It is your typical canteen.
I agree that our own home made cooking will always be the best as compared to restaurant-bought ones. At least we know fully well how it was prepared and what's in it.

That is true, cooking on your own is much healthier and yummier than buying foods outside. We have the same situation we always buy our dishes because no one wants to cook. I want to cook but I am taking care of my son. But no choice we have to buy our food. But sometimes we will cook but it is only for frying. Hahaha. We are just lazy people. And we admit it :)

first i love cooking, second the healthiest way for eating is cooking yourself i think
you cant know how they cook outside and what they cook them from.
i mean sometimes we eat bad and unhealthy foods but we dont know it, because we cant see while they were cooking and what they use inside of that foods,
so if we wanna live healthy, maybe cooking ourself or eating foods which our family members or friends cook.
peace..
