I downloaded workout video on my phone as one easy of motivating me to start exercising. I tried it for few days still I can't even do it for already five minutes a day. The abs exercise is difficult. I also bought heavy hulahoop...But every time I use that it hurts my hip bone since it has a lot bumps. I don't want to take any slimming pills or teaa for I know it won't target specific fats on my body that I want to eliminate.I really want to get rid of this fats in my tummy because I can no longer wear my fitted dresses and blouses. I remember before I started working at the call center company I don't have belly fats inn my body and I can wear anything I want. How about you guys how do you motivate yourself in working out? Is your exercise routine effective for you? are you also watching out your diet?

I find exercise to be an interesting thing to do. I used to have my regular morning exercises before I start my daily routine. It requires self discipline in order to make it a success especially to wake up early in the morning. To wake up early is not easy. But I used to discipline myself to wake up early in the morning so I will not miss to do my morning exercises.

I think exercise is always hard and diffivult when someone starts it who's not that athletic. I think the key is in doing it with measure, and making our bodies get accustomed to the exercises. That's what I did back then. Unfortunately, I abandoned exercise because of a bad schedule at university... and now I think I'm gonna start exrcising again. I just don't know how I should begin.

hi mayrah.
i think you should first decide what you want to get from your exercise. do you want to tone your muscles? do you wnat to lose weight? do you want to bulk up? you did wrote that you 'want to get rid of this fats in my tummy' so i would suggest that you get core exercises and not just ab exercises. instead of exercises, you can be involved in total body activities like swimming, dancing, or even pick up a sport like boxing or muay thai. these are good cardio sports and fat loss will happen in your body. you can also add circuit training.
basically, do something that you like and you won't feel like exercising is a chore. go for activities like brisk walking, walking your dog, jogging, running, or swimming. also, you might want to look at other parameters for being healthy instead of jsut looking at your weight. with what you've wrote you can take note if you are losing inches in your waist and hips. bmi and body fat percentage are also better indicators over than just the actual weight.
just to share with you my weekly exercise plan, i do circuit training and boxing on monday, wednesday, and friday and i do circuit training and brazilian jiu jitsu on tuesday and thursday. in the mornings of thrusday and friday, i also do some running. saturdays and sundays are usually my recovery days but sometimes i would put in some extra circuit training or even some suspension training or kettlebell exercises. i'm always lookign to change things up so sometimes instead of doing just boxing, i would do muay thai instead and instead of circuit training, i would do strength and conditioning training.
about my diet, i hate the word but i do try my best to eat healthier. i stay away from empty carbs like sodas and too much sweets. i also try to eat more vegetables and fish and i drink a lot of water, green tea, and soya milk daily.
anyway, needless to say, find a physical activity that you love doing and keep doing it to be healthy.
hope these stuff i shared, will help you out.
keep us updated and good luck!!!

Hi ! It is not that difficult if one really is motivated to do an exercise ! All it takes is self discipline and determination to get fit ! If you're goal really is to get slim then nothing can stop you ! It is for our own good !~

Yeah, I do agree with you. All it takes is self discipline and determination. I used to discipline myself to wake up early in the morning to do my routine morning exercises before I begin my daily routine. I feel good after my morning exercises. On the contrary if I did not do my morning exercises, I felt something missing for the day.

The key behind exercise is discipline and motivation, without those, you will easily give up, I have seen at the gym, new members come piling in straight after Christmas, as part of their New Years Resolution to get fit and lose weight, and the gym is very busy, trouble is by the time February has come most have given up! And the gym levels out again. I go to the gym 3 times a week, I wish I could go more, but I am lot older now and find doing more than 3 times a week has a detrimental affect. I work out for 90 minutes, I take my Ipod along. You need incentives, i.e treat yourself when you've lost x amount of weight! Set yourself achievable targets, and maybe go along with a friend. I don't have the discipline to work out at home because the internet is too much of a temptation as to is my bed, so by going to the gym I make myself go as I have paid for the membership, and there's more motivation at the gym. The trick also if you are new to exercise is not to overdo it, small steps, and then build up the time and try various types of exercise, cycling, swimming, jogging, so you are making your routine enjoyable. The trap is if your exercise is boring then you won't have any motivation to do it! Good luck I hope I have been of some help.

Exercising everyday can be very hard. Once you see some improvement though, it makes it much easier. I exercise to keep muscle tone in my body. Losing weight would be a nice benefit, but so far, it's only a pound or two. I exercise to music as it seems to make it go quicker. Another problem is getting bored and doing one routine all the time. I have 4 or 5 different routines and switch them every day. Along with solving boredom, if you do the same exercises everyday, your body gets used to them and they aren't as effective.

Well its difficult for couple of weeks.I started doing light aerobics for ten minutes. For 2-3 days it was painful for the body but in a week or so i got used to it, then i increased it by 10 mins every week.Currently i work out for 40 minutes and its easy now.Hence its best to start with light exercise and then stick to it then you have to start all over again. Its just like driving a car,we start with engaging the first gear and accelerate later.

but really, it is nice when you are slimmer. you can wear any type pf clothes. i reduced weight but as of now, i am afraid for surely i gained some pounds.

Its not possible for me to do it regularly.. because it require enough stamina and power to do.
I have to go two times a day and need to drink some proteins drinks.Using of steroids is not good for health.

It's hard for me to exercise because, I am always here on my computer, earning me some money and I spend more time here, then I would out side taking a long walk, I would go for a walk some times, but right now I like to be, online earning my money, then after I earn my money, I can go shopping and I go walking, all I want to then because I will be walking, from store to store seeing, what I want to buy.

Just like you I am so lazy when it comes to exercise. But now that I am so motivated to get rid of my belly fats, I can say that my daily routines are very effective.
Try to jog early in the morning for 30 minutes then try to do the planking and the side planking. If you want also, try to go to the gym at least once or twice a week. Exercise equipments will surely help you to have abs. Abs exercise are really difficult so I bought AB Rocket and it helps me in my abs exercising.
I am also conscious with rice. In the evening I eat only bread or sometimes oats so I can't gain more belly fats. Since I am not working at night, I take light meals. Also, eat more fibrous foods such as vegetables and if possible do not eat much of fatty foods. :)

It is really difficult to exercise because when it comes to the actual, we will become lazy and some of the exercises really hurts. I also have belly fats now which I don't have the last year . You really have to exercise if you don't want to drink that pills. Just think that if you motivate yourself to exercise, your body will go back to normal and you can already wear the dresses that you want to wear and don't have that belly fats anymore.

I have also the same trouble keeping up with it. And I guess that the motivation we had is not enough =. One thing that I have realized that it is more fun and most likely to succeed if we have an exercise buddy. What do you think/

Exercise is an attitude. You have to get used to it which means, do it little by little. Since you work in a call center, it would be a challenge. Regular doesn't mean everyday. It can be every other day if that's more comfortable for you. There will be pain at first but as your body gets used to being stretched, everything will be alright. Also, don't forget to enjoy what you are doing. It is a great motivation.

Hi mayrah, It takes a lot of efforts to maintain regular exercises. Very often we will wait till our body gets into trouble only we will think of doing exercise. I think it would be better to take note of "prevention is better than cure".
I used to go for morning brisk walk whenever I could. Brisk walking is also a good form of exercise to burn extra calories.
I do watch my food and drink intake as well. I try to avoid having junk food and food that are of saturated fats as much as possible [em]happy[/.em].

I started running last Sept and that's whats motivated me to keep going. I have recently just injured my achilles tendon so resting at the moment. I have to plan my work outs every week, like sometimes plan my meals for the week. I recently ran my first half marathon and had to plan out a 12 week training plan which i found online. It's doable but you need to plan it out, and commit to it. SOme days were harder than others though. But I completed my first goal so that was the main thing!
