i love this show. it is my favorite show on television. i love to see buyers bid on storage lockers. my favorite buyer on the show is david hester, the "yuup" guy. the thing i find out about buying storage lockers is that you have to be able to have someone help you load the stuff you buy, into a truck that you will have to have. then, you will have to have someplace to put the stuff until you sell it to make a profit. then, you have to find someone to sell it to. i know you won't make your money back all at one time, either. eventually, you may find that the price you put on one of your items may not be the price you get for it. nevertheless, i fantasize about being able to buy storage sheds and have a store to sell everything from, like dave hester.

My father enjoys watching storage wars. I have watched it a few times and seen them unearth some treasures and make a tidy profit from what they sell on. I guess it's a gamble, but sometimes gambles pay off as I have seen!

if you know where to take stuff to, it can really turn a big profit.

I started watching this show a few months ago and I'm hooked! lol. I love seeing what the things end up being worth. It amazes me when one of the people can spend a couple hundred dollars on a storage space and end up making a few hundred from it. You never know what will be found. My favorite is Barry. This guy has obviously been around a long time, knows a LOT of people and really just does it because he's got a ton of money and nothing better to do! Lol. The sad thing to me is that, as the show progresses and we see more episodes, it's becoming more "scripted", more "staged". It's lost some of the appeal for me simply because it's not as spontaneous or true any more. I live in Buenos Aires and I don't even think there are many storage spaces here. But, I used to live in NYC and there were literally thousands of them. I see now that they're going to do a Storage Wars there. Should be really interesting to see what people find!

I do not watch this show but I used to watch the Discovery Channel version of that. I think its really a hard job considering that you need to almost stock vast number of knowledge and their corresponding prices. You also need to compete with other bidders and make the most our of your money. I find it very lucrative also but its just sad that its not applicable here in the Philippines.

My boyfriend loves that show to. He wants to now buy storage lockers and sell the stuff at the flea market. I think he would have alot of fun doing that. So we are going to find out about how to buy lockers this summer.

I too like watching the Storage Wars. I like Dave, Barry, Jarrod & Brandi, I think Darryl is my least favorite. It's fun to see which items turn out to be worth more that you thought they where worth. I was sorry to hear that Dave Hester was fired from the show and won't be back with the rest of the cast. He claimed that the producers were placing items in the lockers and he was fired. He's now filing a lawsuit against the show, claiming it's fake and set-up and that he was fired for revealing this information. It's a shame it had to get nasty!

yeah its not a bad show at all, however the amount they pay for some units is just crazy! I personally believe $2000 for a couple of bags of smelly socks is a bit to rich for my blood haha x)
