Ways to Trick or Hack your Mind?

Can a person trick his/her mind to do the things it does not want to do? Because sometimes in our life we all have to do things we don't want to.

I think this question is more difficult to answer than it seems. A person can always ''change'' his mind, i.e. take up a different stance on things. Thus if you don't want to do something it is your mind that doesn't want it. So you have two choices: either ignore what your mind tells you (stop thinking) or try to take a different stance on the respective issue. For latter you need further ''input'', i.e. someone or something that tells you why you should change your mind. In some situations where people are forced to change their mind pain or a threat is what changes their mind. The mind itself cannot control itself and the mind is already in control :-)

Yes your right. Sometimes I changed my plans because I was force to do so, or it was convenient. There are also time I have difficulty in having the positive attitude when I'm down.

If I can do it, I would try to see one good thing in some activity I really wanna don't wanna do which I could be kind of excited about, and I'm gonna try to get my mind think it's the best thing ever and I cannot wait to do that. But if I can't do that... well, for that situation, I have no good mind trick. :(

I'd say yes, at least some of the time. Sometimes I have to find a different way to look at something in order to be able to do it. The way you phrase things makes all the difference. If you go around thinking about not getting sick, you're thinking about getting sick. On the other hand if you think about staying healthy you're putting your energy into being healthy.

I think most of the time in the really urgent conditions, or in the condition when we not doing it, we will have something bad happen. Like for example, wake up for going to work or school.
