Welcome to MyLot! The very first thing you should do is to get your head around the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx Moderation is good here and things which aren't allowed are usually deleted within a day or two. Of course, you won't earn for anything which is deleted, so it's equally important to understand what goes here and what does not, whether you are starting discussions or responding to them. Looking at the discussions you have started, I see that you need to be clear about the difference between a discussion and a 'poll type' question. In general, anything which only requires a simple answer of a few words or 'yes' or 'no' cannot qualify as a discussion. In the FAQs (another very important reference), we are reminded to "Post quality content. For example, generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic.": http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14 Having been a member here for nearly 7 years, I can say with confidence that the people who get the most out of MyLot are those who enjoy good discussions demanding thoughtful responses and who concentrate on giving the best, most descriptive and relevant responses to other people's discussions. Such people generally find that the important thing for them is participation and that earnings are just a nice bonus. The odd thing is that these people are generally the ones who are earning more in the long run simply because they are concentrating on quality! Remember that a discussion is like a conversation with several people. If you ask a question or pose a topic for discussion, you may get several people responding with their opinions. If you don't reply (or 'comment', in MyLot's terms) to those responses with something which discusses or furthers the topic, then it's not a discussion. MyLot has a number of ways in which you can earn. The most obvious way, of course, is through your participation in discussions. Remember that you only earn for what YOU type and that earnings are calculated on the quality of your participation as a whole over a 'MyLot day' (see the MyLot time at the bottom of every page). You can also earn a little by adding relevant, non-copyright photos to illustrate your discussions and Interests (please read the Photo Guidelines carefully: http://www.mylot.com/o/photoguidelines.aspx - MOST of the images you may find on the web are copyright). Look at the Tasks area occasionally: http://www.mylot.com/nr/tasks/dashboard.aspx Here users can post tasks and other users may undertake to complete them for the stated amount. Usually the tasks posted are quite simple and only worth a few cents but occasionally there are tasks which pay $1 or more (usually these are writing tasks). Finally, if you use the MyLot Search bar to search the web, as you would any search engine, you can earn random rewards of a few cents. See the FAQs under "Rewards": http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq24.aspx for more details. I use it quite a lot (MyLot is my default search engine) and regularly earn around $2 a month this way.

Just keep posting your ideas... Look for questions that suit your interests and keep discussions alive... I suggest that you do a min of 8-10 posts per day...
