Is Facebook a Mobile-Device Only Place Now?

That is, do most people on Facebook simply 'mail-in' their pics & -statuses ('statii'?) with their smart-phone & not even look at their 'news feed'? What if something on my Facebook-page (e.g. a link to a 'really important' myLot-discussion) NEEDS my mobile-using friends' attention?

I use my phone to access Facebook but I always make sure I check my newsfeed. I use it to post pictures online of all sorts of things. But I always check the news feed to make sure nothing important is going on.
