Can meditation make you relax ?

I know life is full of anxiety. The anxiety that makes your life more fatigue, stressful, tension and so on. All these negative elements approach in your life and impact a negative consequence on you. The most concerning matter is that it becomes a breeding issues of many deadly diseases in the long run. You face many stressful situation in life. You can not stop events that make your life miserably stressful. So you need to make a plan for less stressful life and save yourself from any major sufferings and consequences. So what can be the best way that may make your life possibly relax from tension.

Meditation is really good too loose some stress in your life. but there are other things i do like more than meditation like for instance, taking a warm bath with some calm ambient music playing in the back ground. or taking a stroll to the beach and listen to the waves as you relax on the sand.Those things seem to take away my stress completely i guess you just have to find perfect zen with you and your environment and it works out on its own.

Hi angeljaimez1, one of my friends tells me, he feels great relax when he hears melodious songs of birds, specially the cuckoo. I remember his comment as you have mentioned listening to the wave in your response. You are quite right, it works out on its own. Thanks for all your new tips.

Yea, meditation is the best medicine for relaxation. It help you to forget your tension and things you are strangled to. Keep concentrating on the meditation and the rules of the meditation like breathing and stretching exercises and the scenery of the view you are thinking of in the meditation like of the sea and birds flying and sun setting in the west and all. Concentrate is the meditation. Its a practice and getting involved in the work you love is also a meditation...

It really all begins with the breath. If you can just become aware of your breath and then take time to deepen it, you can relieve stress. Just three deep breaths will cause your whole body to relax. Meditation takes more time and effort, but if you will committe to it the effort will be rewarded.

Hi, Most religious movements are masters at meditation and they seem to benefit from it. People who regularly practice it are more relaxed, balanced and adjusted to their surroundings. Needless to say, they are more happy than the rest of us. They live longer too, being free from undue stress and worries, their system is not prone to sickness which is the result of a stressful lifestyle. There are several techniques to it, Yoga, tantra, mantra, even martial arts like the Chinise Tai-Chi is a form of meditation combined with physical exercise. It is more of an oriental origins in my observation.

Yep, proper breathing techniques and clearing your mind is a great way to relieve yourself of stress. Been doing that every now and then, though not consistently. It really is relaxing. Also, you can do proper breathing techniques to control emotions and temper. I do that whenever I am stuck in a very temperamental situation putting my mind in meditation for a few seconds to clear the stress and act reasonable thereafter.

Hello AgentGulaman,mind is like a meadow. Yes, it needs to be cleaning.Restless mind causes many mental problems. If the mental restlessness persistently goes on, it starts giving wrong signal to your body fitness. Deep breathing in the early morning is good for health. Thanks for sharing.
