Results...as I expected

Hi Nitin, I am very sorry that you have disappointed my answer. I never thought to make in trouble. I never take it as negative. My son is studying in 11th std in a military school. As you are staying in Pune you know Jalna also where acute shortage of water. He is staying in the school hostel. He is struggling too much there. I know. As a father I told him you study with some struggle. You cannot imaging that every thing will get freely. The water shortage in Jalna is natural. You know very well that in Maharashtra is struggling of acute shortage of water. He told me that even though this school is owned by our educational minister of Maharashtra there is water problem. I told my son that what the educational minister can do. This is a natural disaster or problem. You have to suffer. He told me that they will provide a bottle of water to go to the open toilet every day. I told him that I have waited with a small bucket of water outside the toilet in Mumbai City when I was there in Mumbai during 1995 to go to toilet. This is an example only. I told him you should not think about the facility you are getting now. You concentrate on your study in your military school. If you get admission in NDA it is worth for your life. Nothing in this world that will give you enjoy without some struggle. I never thought that you will take it as negative. With the age of your father, Nitin, I am telling that you study well. You may be serious. But you need to take more serious on your study. You know as I am only 10th std I am not getting a promotion in my present company. My juniors are getting promotion because thy are graduate. Why? My father was a preast who could not pay the college fee hence I could not go to the collage. Now AI am suffering. My kids are suffering. In our life we can make more arguement. But nothing will get the solution. You know I am doing my online activities after my wife and daughter is getting sleep to get some few cents. Yes that few cents are worth for me. I am spending my time till 1.00 A M Again I will wake up at 4 am to get the water. I am working in an office from 9 am to 5.30 pm but to reach the office I have to sit in the bus for 1 hour. Sorry I think that I make you bore. Sorry.

Sorry if i have offended you. But i think if your son is suffering then you shouldn't let him as a father. There are many out there who get everything they want without doing anything in life. I am not telling to follow them but at least don't struggle so much that later you will regret why did you struggle. Got my point? I know i need to put more efforts but i can't focus two things at the same time. And i don't feel like studying when at room. I just lay there and sleep. You can still go for degree if you are determined. It is possible. So i don't think it's right when you say that you don't get promotion because of that. You might be too old but it's worth the try if that will give you what you want. And if possible shift your son to another good school. Else there might be one day when he will think 'my dad told me to struggle so much,put me in such a school but still i am not worthy.I wasted my life' etc. It's common thinking. And try to avoid that from your son. He is still a child if he's in 11th. Be close to him. I know you did right by putting him in good school but i don't think it's worth when the school can't even provide the basic necessity like water. He might not share to you how he lives there just to not make you sad. I don't share my pain to my mom because i want she should live happy for the rest of her life. You got me wrong when you say that i was not serious about the exams. I was serious. I took one day leave each a day before the exams and studied whatever was given as assignment and taught in the class. They don't allow me to study or you can say i am not supposed to study while in office even if i get some free time. I used that time to come mylot and update my friends instead. Now for our batch, unlike all the previous years, this time there were students from two locations..one from Pune(where i was) and other from Noida(Delhi). So it was not sure where the paper will be set. So i was worried and tensed a bit. And as expected, the Noida lecturers set up the papers with those questions or topics that they covered in their classes. Well, leave it. I don't want this as a reason or i would not prefer blaming others for my results. But frankly i did not like that you thought that i was not serious and i wasted time doing things that i was not supposed to do. I reach home after 10pm from work and I am expected to reach office at 8am so there's no way i can study at my PG where i stay and with all the disturbances around. Thanks for your response.

Yeah...and as i said, i really dont't get the mood to study after work especially when i get to my room too late possibley at 10-10.30 pm and then again go to work in the morning..

aww well I do feel you, when I was in college I hate myself when I don't get my expectations after the exam, because after all the hard work and effort that I had given, it just seems not enough. But hey I think your situation is better because you actually know, what you're going to get. So cheer up, for sure It will be better next exam.. YOU CAN DO IT!

Yeah i guess that i need to manage my time a little bit. And i am thiking of asking everyone at mylot on how to go about it. This will help me to be more clear on what to include and what not.. Thanks friend :)
