i am new here and trying to have new friends, but today i am just shocked after i checked the peoples log in history.
do you care it?,i think we should.
i was trying to add new people here and i was checking their log in history then i saw some people are logging in really rare or some of them stop writing here,
of course it means they are not active but isnt that important for us to have friends who are active?
i really didnt care it at the first time, but after i thought about it,why i need to be friend with a person who is not logged in since a year///
am i thinking wrong?
please give me some advices ,because i am little bit confused here..

I'm an oldie who doesn't come here much. Why? Because I get pissed off with those who think this is facebook or twitter. Yes you know, those who just comment but wont discuss anything!
I don't know why we need friends at all. I will reply to anyone! You don't have to be friends with me, afterall this isn't facebook. I don't need interests either - I can talk sh@t on any topic!
We oldies KNOW what the site used to be like in the past - and we MISS it! It isn't the same anymore. That's why people are missing.

I don't normally invite friends in mylot. I invite people to be my friends in mylot if I found most of their discussions interesting and if I see that they are nice on their posts. If I learn much from their post or I think they are nice people then I take the initiative to add them up. This might not be originally a social networking site, I think this is still a nice site to share your ideas and befriend people. It's better to have discussions between friends. You don't have to be my friend though to reply to my discussion neither do I have to be to respond to yours. You can think of mylot as a big community where a lot of people resides. These people have different agendas and different objectives. We just have to respect how people are in mylot. While others may want solely to focus more on earning money by posting some may be here to gain friends and somehow improve on their written communications skills. As for your concern on adding people who are inactive in mylot... well it depends upon the situation. If you say he or she is not logging in to mylot anymore (like if he's last log in was still 2 years ago) then I wouldn't spend time adding him or her up. However if that person still logs in and yet he can just spend time every now and then in mylot. I mean he only logs in when he has the time but her discussions and post are worth reading and if he seems to be a nice person, then I would definitely add him up. If his discussions or posts are kind of mean then I would probably just ignore him. As for your frustrations because of those haters, please do not take them seriously. You cannot please everyone. If you think you have done something wrong to offend them, then you may need to apologize but if you think you didn't do anything wrong, then just ignore them. You don't live for others alone... you also need to consider yourself at times. Happy mylotting! =)

I have about 49 friend requests on hold right now. Most of them are not active. I do think that there really are a few of the members that are active on this site and you can see who they are if you try to stay for atleast one week.
it was a mistake for me to just add people when they are either not active or have completely left the site. So now, I try to add people who contributes a lot on the site coz that way I could get through each of their discussions.

The ONLY way to earn here is by being active.
You only earn for what YOU do, not for what others do so if you are inactive youwill not see anything added to your earnings.

I am thankful to you mysdianait. I also new here. Thank you for your guidance. I will try to be active here to participate in whatever ways I could.
I have resigned from my offline career. So, someone recommended me to join here as I have free time and want to utilized it more fruitfully. This seems to be a good place to be in. I hope I will enjoy it here.

I have 169 friends' requests pending. I checked your profile before accepting you. I like to have friends from all countries and I saw you were from Japan and also saw that you were going to make a concerted effort to be here.
You are absolutely right about looking at profiles before accepting friends. No point in having someone who hardly is active here. You could delete them if you wish.

Hi scubapro, I am also a new here. After reading the rules and regulations here but I am still not very familiar about things here. I guess it is only through more participation that we could learn more things here as well as earning.
Thanks for being my friend too. I will try to be active here as much as I could.
