But Didn't Our Father Give Us These Things TO Worry About? Jesus Never Grew Up!

Jesus tells us not to worry about basic things like 'where we'll get food' or 'shelter' or 'clothing,' but aren't such worries the tasks we typically assign to grown-ups? So aren't grown-ups SUPPOSED to worry about such things? And--since worrying about such things is a direct failure to follow our Lord's commands--isn't growing up a sin?

You are really twisting the words, to give it a different meaning. The word tells us not to worry because God loves us, and He will always take good care of us. He will provide us our basic needs so we need not worry. HE has given life to us and so without any doubt I can say that growing up is not a sin. So live a tension free life.

Nooooooooooo; because G*d loves us, He won't hold our worldly life against us when we free ourselves from it. We are taken care-of because PEOPLE love us in the way G*d loves other gods (if He manifested another human because it's bad for humans--bearers of His image--to be alone, don't you think He would manifest other gods so that HE were not alone?).

I think the answer to your question is found in another question - "Do we need to worry if we live rightly?" In the Christians' context, it would be "What does a Christ like Christian have to worry about when he/she is being Christ like?" One that observes the faith, doing whatever is required by the faith and walking the talk. What can go wrong? Gets an education, find a job, gets a job and gets paid - food and physiology needs addressed. Any need to worry about food or shelter? As time progresses during employment, security in friends, employment and family is being addressed. After a while, as time advances deepening of all relationships with colleagues, friends and family which by then would boost our self esteem and ego. That's when I suppose recognition and realization of status fall into place. On the above short summary of a typical life, if Christianity is all about love, then how is it growing up could be regarded as a sin?

Because 'growing-up' (i.e. BEING a 'grownup') implies taking responsibility for the things you are 'steward'-of ... taking 'ownership' of them, making 'whatever is wrong with them' something that is wrong with you. If those things fall into place, you never "really" grow up. You might be 'called' a grownup because you've aged a certain amount of time, but you don't 'really' grow up unless you SHOVE things into place and/or FORCE them to stay in place

If we're not like children (mostly in trust) we cannot realize the kingdom..

No we aren't suppose to worry because we are suppose to pray and trust in God for our needs.
