We have a Boxwieler dog. We have had her since she was a baby. She is like our child and some may say she is spoiled. We give her our table scraps as well as her dog food. Tonight we were having snacks of peanut butter sandwiches. My husband was giving her bites of his and he finished his sandwich. So she comes over and sits by me, now I really wasn't paying much attention because I was on the computer. My husband is like "Isn't mom going to give you any of her sandwich?" So our dog, named Pandora, gets up on her bed and faces towards the wall and sticks her nose up in the air. She had an attitude with me because I didn't give her a bite right away!!
Do you have a pet with attitude?

Absolutely! We have a Yorkie named Fenny who gets very angry if we do not share our food with him. His previous owner taught him how to beg... Not good. We are trying to break him of it but it is just so sad to see his little puppy face all upset!

lol, i love that animals have personalities and souls. they are super cute and these personalities make the animal worth having in my mind. but once in a while you get a spoiled brat, or a self-entitled princess or even a fighter with attitude.
you can tell if they will be a bit of a handful when their older bc they have those traits when they are a baby.
you may think you can train your baby puppy to be like all the other dogs but deep down that dog will have the natural instincts it was born with.
my moms cat will stick her nose in the air and show you her butt when shes upset with you and you can always tell when my dads home bc her attitude is high. around my mom, she melts. its like she sticks her tongue at us when my mom turns her back.
you dont always have to get rid of these traits, in my mind it can make your pet boring to take it away. and really, why get a cuddly monster if its just gonna be boring?

We have a black lebra mixed breed dog named "shanti". He wont stay much at home and just come home only to have milk or when he just want to sleep in winter times. If we bring other pups at home then he wont come to home. He would only sleep on sofa or my bed. Never lay on floor.
Happy mylotting.

I know your Pandora is a spoiled dog! They say we shouldn't admit our dogs to beg when we eat. But who can resist? My wife always scold me because of that. She says I taught our dog to be a beggar.
I don't think I taught her to beg, she knew that from the day one!
About dogs with attitude, ours has the habit to climb on a chair next to the kitchen table and to sit there like she was a queen. Of course she expects some treats for that.

Patches is just like that or Marco.
Today I was eating some doritos, wasn't paying attention and Patches crawled into the bag luckily it was only a handful of chips left. She licked all the flavour off and left the chips for me.
It's funny how they have their own personalities.

Our cat would have the sulks when mum used to go away on holiday, on mum's return the cat, Meg wouldn't have anything to do with mum, she would look at her and turn away as if to say 'how dare you go away and leave me' she wouldn't go anywhere near my mum for about two days, then she will relent and go back to her usual self, but she made it clear she didn't like mum leaving her! Animals ain't as stupid as some people make them out to be. Thanks for sharing your story, you love even more, with their funny little ways.

Your dog Pandora is adorable! What is a Boxwieler-I don't know that I've ever heard that breed before. She kind of makes me think of a black Lab, or perhaps a shepard.
We have a little mixed breed-Yoda. We think he's part Westmoreland terrier. My boyfriend adopted him in late 2009 (as much as I can guess-he doesn't remember), and calls him his 'son'.
Yoda is incredibly spoiled, though he wasn't always properly cared for by Jim. Poor Yoda had such bad skin allergies, he couldn't really grow fur-his entire rump was covered with scabs and he had actually chewed a few bald spots! I did some research, changed his food, started taking him for longer walks (he used to pull so hard that he would get tired after four blocks and have to be carried home!), and began the task of cutting all the knots out of his fur. And within a few months, his fur began to grow!
And it GREW! It ended up being about 3" long-so long that Yoda: 1) required daily brushing, or else it would get tangled and 2) started looking like a female dog-all he needed was a bow!
I also took him to have his nails trimmed, and to start getting his shots updated. You know-all those basic tasks that good dog parents do for their babies.
Yoda has better manners now-he has learned to not beg (I rarely feed him from the table, although he is allowed to lick plates clean occasionally! Now the cat Jim used to have-Momo? He was BAD. He would actually climb up to the table and try to steal food off the plates, heck, he used to try to steal french fries out of Jim's hand if he wasn't watching!
I figured he was allergic to wheat-and began to explain to Jim that we could not longer feed him pizza crusts (a special treat), or Canine Carryouts, where wheat was the first ingredient, nor feed him Beneful dog food. For Jim, he's used to feeding Yoda from the table-and Yoda has come to expect it.

We had a dog, Jessie, who was always scolding other dogs and was always under the table because we sort of spoiled her, (cute dog) but I do not think she had an attitude.

What beautiful dogs!
I do give my dogs bites but they know that they only get the last bite and it's a very little one! I like the bit about Pandora retreating to the corner, my dog does that sometimes and I don't know why because it's not in response to anything bad or disappointing as far as I can see.

Oh so cute!!! Boxwieler, which must mean part boxer. We had boxers, and they are known for their attitudes, in fact it has been said by a famous British dog trainer that no lady should own a Boxer dog, because of their attitude. A boxer and Rottweiler mix will really have an awesome attitude :)
Here are some cute pics of puppies, just because :) Well, just because after I reached my 500 rating I can copy and paste links, and I love to share links and pics!

I have two! They're so spoiled because they know how much we love them. They sleep in our room and would not finally sleep unless they get their midnight snack of dogfood. They are our babies. Oh how they make us very happy!

Though I have none but I have come across a dog with attitude and sometimes his behaviors leaves you wondering if that is actually a dog.

most certainly. coco has been spoiled ever since i got her at 7mths old. even my big dog that we had back then spoiled her and let her always have her way. she pouts also every time she dont get what she wants. she will either lay down and give you these reproachful stares or she will "talk "to you like shes bawling you out for something. tonight she growled and grunted at my son for teasing her over whining after my daughter when she left.
