Apartment Bulbs

One of the things I looked forward to when getting my own place was being able to plant what I want and garden some. Well, in an apartment that is very limited. I found this idea online where you put bulbs in a glass on top of beads or a large stone (I used golf balls) and then water right up to the bulb. You grow individual bulbs in each glass. I thought it was ingenious and tried it, its working!! Anyone else have any great apartment gardening ideas?

I have a small apartment too but I have 3 plants that are thriving. If you have a stong windowsill you could put a planter box on it to grow plants or even vegetables. My daughter does it with much success. Good luck!
