Hmm I not realize this date I become 24 years old. Time move to fast. 24 years is like 24 month. Now I near in category as adult. When I reach 25 years old I will in category adult people. Before this my neighbour make a birthday party to their child. From 24 years I never celebrate birthday not only me all my family never celebrate birthday but a new generation parent like to make birthday party. For me there nothing to celebrate when our age increase every year.

My parents family never celebrate our birthdays too. We only find a date that suits everyone in the family and having a nice dinner. Since we seldom get together during normal days as everyone are busy with their own work. And this is also good to spend time together in the dinner and forged a better family bond. Anyway, happy birthday to you!

I always believe that there is a good reason for us to celebrate during our birthday. We need to celebrate for a new year that is being given to us. An additional year of life. Although we should not be spending that much during that celebration, but we should celebrate in any other means. Giving thanks for the life given is a good thing to do. Have wonderful day!

I not celebrate it with a party when I get a new age. For me just only say happy birthday is enough for me.

Hi there, Same as you are, I have stopped celebrating my birthday when I have reaches 25. This is because to save money, as celebrating it, is not practical at all.

I think that we should give importance everytime we turn in a new leaf. I mean, why wouldn't you be happy about the day you were born?

Hello, Akamarukei! I respect your decision on that. However, if it is not asking too much, why do you not like celebrating your birthday every year? Is it a tradition in your place?

Time flies so fast. I remember when I was still a teenager, dating, and having fun with friends. Now, I just recall those times and I get surprised when other people call me "ate" a term for older sister. I don't look as a new teenager anymore. I am married and just have to accept that everyone is ageing.

Yeah someday we will become uncle and aunty that mean we not young anymore. At here when someone is very older than us we call them uncle for a man and aunty for a woman.

Yes, time really move fast, by the blink of our eye, it is the end of the year soon and we are getting another year older. Why can't we just change the calender to 24 months make up a year, instead of only 12 months, it is unacceptable for me to feel and get old so quickly. Make sure you make full use of your time while you still can, live every day to the full, and spend every hour wisely because as the time passes by, you can't get it back again. Each second, minute, hour and day is not going to wait for anyone, we all should be aware not to idling them away. I agree it is quite meaningless to celebrate our additional age with birthday party as it increases every year well past adulthood, since we are getting older, not turning into an adult from a kid; but closer to our grave, there is really nothing to celebrate.

Ahh I think I just know to waste my time. I still not doing something make me or my family proud. Year always change and my age also change but I still not change. I don't know when I will get a better life and happy before I become older person.

if there is one thing i can say about your age is treasure it and make the most of it, go after everything you really want to do with your life with zeal, because i didn't and now have some regrets, wasn't too long ago i was tht age thinking that i still have a long way to go and i am not even 30 yet,now in the blink of an eye i am approaching middle age and looking back to when i was 20 plus, i wished i had pursued some things more vigorously, things that i liked to do at that age.

In my opinion, you are not only near in category as adult. You are an adult already. And I also don't see much good points in holding a party for celebrating birthday, especially for my very own birthday. A simple celebration such as a simple greet of "happy birthday" and also pray is quite necessary though. Birthday is actually a good time to review your life - to review what have you done so far, and what have you achieved so far. So, happy birthday!

I don't think I can be adult. I still like teenager. People always think I am a high school student. Yeah I don't need a party I very appreciate if someone can remember my birthday and say happy birthday to me.
