This morning, maybe because of eastern, they gave the first part of two of the above mentioned movie. It's about Maria, mother of Jesus, and her life. Tomorrow morning they will give the second and last part and I can't wait to see it. Actually, I love films about the different stories and chapters of the biblical history. Seeing the biblical history in images helps to remember and to understand better the content. Do you like those films too?

I love films like that too- too bad they have not filmed many these past few years. I do prefer watching the stories rather than reading them. i have seen Mary Mother of Jesus, and it was really nice, about a young Mary and her hardships and raising baby Jesus- with Joseph too.

YE, even if the world may be a horrible place these modern times.. i still see some people who resemble Mary in some ways.. There are still kind and obedient people- i am even friends with some.. there are just more evil people in the world and in our neighborhood.

Maria, I suppose, is one of those persons we could learn from a lot about true faith, respect, obedience and modesty. Could you imagine a person like her living nowadays?

I love bibical movies myself. I have been watching them all weekend. We watched "King of Kings" with Jeffery Hunter and Jesus of Nazareth. We have also been watching "The Bible" all month on the History Channel. The last of "The Bible" is on tonight. You get to learn so much from these stories. I also have watched the "Ten Commandments" and "The Greatest Story ever Told" which are also excellent bibical movies.

It must be beautifull to watch The Bible. I suppose it contains many chapters. To see the Bible in images or just a part of it surely helps us to understand better the content.
