Cambridge PhD vs work at Deloitte?

This has been a really serious decision-making my hubby had to make recently. First, we thought it would be very easy because both sounds really good. Then we made our first decision, changed, second decision, changed again, and finally made our FINAL decision. No more backing out. Someone recently phoned us about our decisions and that we should think deeper about it - could be a 'life changing choice' apparently. Although we had made our decision, I would like to hear your ideas/opinions/critics about this. Maybe we will learn something that will eventually help us or be prepared.
