I Much Prefer With A Keypad

Mostly people nowadays are using touch-screen cellphones which are of Samsung brands. Maybe people are doing this just to be on the trend and so they will look cool. Others tend to borrow money just to have one. But for me, I still prefer my cellphone, Cherry Mobile, a qwerty type cellphone. I bought this last 2011 which is a fruit of my hardwork as a virtual assistant before. Until now my phone is still working and I am more convenient in using this. Honestly, I find it really hard to send messages or any activity using those touch-screen cellphones. I am so patient because sometimes I need to refresh it or when I am in a hurry, words are typed incorrectly. I know someday keypad cellphones will be faced-out, but then I will not still change my phone as long as it is still working.

I have a touch screen phone and I personally hate it. I won't tell my husband that though because he's the one that picked it out and bought it for me. I don't want to make him feel bad but it's much more difficult to use than having a keypad...

Me too, my dad bought me one though I didn't ask him to do so. I am just using it if I am out of house and going to use Wi-fi at the malls or restaurants. Sometimes when I play games such as Talking friends. I can say you are being loved by husband :) How sweet of him. :)

Yeah, I find it hard to use touch-screen cellphones too. I would be more familiar with keypad. I always encounter problem when sending messages. It took a longer time to send one message compare with that of keypad. However, just like you have shared someday keypad cellphones may faced-out. I would then consider to learn touch screen if given no choice.

I've used few different types & I personally don't like touch screen phones myself... I use my phone for work purpose as well & I tend to use it for voice calling a lot... I don't like how I have to constantly clean the screen after using it especially in summer time when I sweat...

Although it is true that we need to learn new things, I would also prefer a cellphone with a keypad rather than touch screen phones. Well anyway, if time would come when there will be no more available cellphone having keypads int he market, then that would be the time to consider using touch screen phone. Have a wonderful day!

Uhmm...touch screen phones aren't that hard to use when you get used to them. I had that problem too when I first bought my touch screen phone. It took me minutes to type a short message correctly. After some time, I got used to it and I type as fast as I type on a keypad already. But you don't have to pick touch screen phones because they're the trend. You don't have to always do what's in for most people. Maybe someday keypad phones will be phased out as you say, but as long as there are people who still prefer keypads, that time will not come so fast.

I have both a cell and a touch screen, I like them both. The touch screen tends to look better and more appealing, however the cell is easier to keep clean and tends to last longer.

I have the samsung galaxy s4 and it is a touch screen. I really like ti much better than the keypad, as I have used that too. I don't text so a touch screen works the best for me. I do post in facebook on it, and it takes me more time to post it then it would if I usede the computer or a keypad phone, but i get it post4ed, even after having made a few mistakes along the way. Really though, touch screen phones aren't that bad, once you have used them for awhile. i will just stay with touch screen phones, now that i use them. Take care, and have a good day.
