Did not sleep well last night. What do you do to put yourself back to sleep?

After my 7 mile walk home, I thought I would sleep like a baby after I ate dinner and showered and went to bed. Couple hours later I was up again, achilles tendon was aching a little and I had a slight headache. Tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't. Tossed and turned for about an hour, then decided to get up and watch a movie on Netflix. Probably not the best idea lol Two movies later, I went back to bed. Woke up at 11am today, feeling ok, but tired. What do you do to put yourself back to sleep?

I never really have a problem going back to school. But in some rare cases, I would just get myself a glass of warm milk and the warmth helps me relax and calm down. Soon enough I would drift to sleep.

Glass of warm milk sounds like a nice idea as well. I sometimes have a hot cup of milo or otherwise hot chocolate to help. Sometimes that works!

Honestly reading puts me to sleep faster than anything else so if I am having trouble sleeping I just read. Or I purposely watch something on TV that I have no interest in. It is so boring that I end up falling asleep. Lol. Works for me! :)

Sometimes I would meditate on God and calling to Him softly until I fall asleep. At other time, I would tossed and turned even if it is one or two hours until I fall asleep.
