Fortunately for us, my husband prefers cheap and plain cellphones, so it's not like he lost an expensive smartphone, or anything. He can't find the case or the phone, and does not remember how it could have fallen off of his belt, but it's not there. It's also not in the apartment, because we called it, and it rings like it has batteries left, but we don't hear it ring. My hearing is much better than his, but if it was in here, with all radios and TV turned off, and even with something turned on, I know I would, atleast, be able to hear it. AARRGGHH!!!! I guess we need to look for a new one for him this week. I use mine a lot, so it's either in my purse, or sitting next to me plugged in on the bed. I know where it is at all times, and have never lost a phone. I'd probably go nuts if I did. it's one of the older ihone models, and was expensive enough when I bought it. Have you ever lost a cellphone? How do you keep a guy from losing his? He had it hooked around his belt, but somehow the whole case fell off. AARRGGHH!!!

I never lost a cell phone either. I also have owned iPhones ever since they came out. I currently have the iPhone5. My girlfriend however was using my iPhone 4s and she actually went to a store, put it down to do something and it was gone. I tracked it and found it in a car service somewhere here in Brooklyn. I did call the police and they would not help me get it back. Then further tracking of the phone it wound up on the other side of Brooklyn then it went off line. So what I had to do was lock and wipe the phone, called the phone company, they wiped out the sim card for me. So any and all information on that phone was gone forever. We never got it back. And that phone was a lot of money. It still bothers me to this day and that only happened a few months ago. My phone is always with me. I never let it out of my sight.

I have not lost my cell phone for more than a short time. Typically it was lost in the house somewhere or my typical spot it fell while I was driving and it was under the seat. My hubby however has lost atleast one and it was in the woods while hunting on public land. He got in such a tiff that he needed to get a new one asap... that within hours of loosing his phone someone had found it in the woods! Shocking isn't it? So then he had two cell phones for a lil bit til he gave one to his father.

I left my cellphone once in a restaurant and the manager of the restaurant called me back because I made a call to my cellphone just to see if someone had it. I was able to get my cellphone back thanks to this guy.

The cellphone is quite important for me. Just like you, I will keep it with me most of the time. I like to use it to surf the net and watch movie. So if I lose my cellphone, be sure I will feel so lost and I must buy a new one in a short time. I have never lost my cellphone yet. My husband and my mom also lost their cellphones once. They are not as careful as I am. When I go out, I always keep alert.

No, I have never lost a cellphone, as i always keep mine next to me at all times, or when I am out and about, mine is in my purse and the purse is zipped closed. i have an 3expensive smartphone, so i really can't afford to lose my phone. Maybe after, your husband gets his new phone, he will be more responsible, and not lose that one. It sounds like he needs a better belt where it can't fall out as well. I hope you find him a phone, and he doesn't lose it. Take care, and have a good day.

We do not lose phones, my hubby is pretty careful with his. My brother tended to lose his in the laundry. Washing phones is not good for them. I mislay mine in the house from time to time, though.

My husband lost his cell phones countless times. He goes to pubs regularly and drink as if there is no tomorrow and when highly intoxicated he couldn't remember where he put his cell phone. The next thing he know he has to pay high bills cos those who took it took advantage of the credits available before he managed to call the service center to terminate the simcard number. He is also using cheap cell phone but losing it is heavy price to pay cos he uses post paid services.

I also have one of the cheap prepaid cell phones....and I have never lost it. It's like very old! I don't use it all the time though. Only when I travel for the most part. When I am home I still have a landline.

My partner managed to lose his some months ago. Eventually we found it, and it was down under a pile of his clothes all along. Made me so cross! I'd only asked him if he'd searched that area about 50 times! We've not bought him a replacement as it's rare we're both out of the house separately. We're either together, or one of us is at home with a landline so it seems unnecessary. So now he's using mine too, and he mislays it regularly. It drives me absolutely MENTAL!

My husband lost his phone once, and the other time he dropped it in the toilet! Thank God he also has cheap ones. I use my phone more than he does so I always get the more expensive ones than him. Mine was only $100 so it wasn't a real expensive one but his was $40 so a lot cheaper than mine. Now he keeps his phone in his pocket at all times because he had a holder for it on his side and he lost it that way. He was roofing, got down and could not find the phone anywhere. So in his pocket he knows he will always have it.

Yes, I've lost my mobile once at work. I only left it on my desk for few minutes and it was gone when I came back. It was only an old and plain Nokia model, but I felt so annoyed because I am so used to it and I actually needed the data stored in it.

My dad keeps losing his phones, too. He loses them mostly when driving a motorcycle. My mom was really annoyed when he lost a smartphone that cost a lot. I have lost some cellphones, but they were old and cheap and they got replaced with a better one.

Steve lost is Blackberry once....he claims someone stole it from the car while he was paying for gas...I just think he lost it totally and doesn't want to admit it. He went right to having them cancel that phone and buying himself a newer model....another reason I think he magically lost it! He had his smartphone while I had my stupid plain phone. We all have smartphones now and love them. I strictly wanted one for the apps that I earn with...and I have my daughter and hubby both also earning with some of them too. Marsha

The only time I lost a cellphone was when it was actually pick-pocketed from me. It was an older version of a nokia phone, back when they were starting to make those colored four-liner phones. I was a college student then so for me it was a pretty big loss. Like you my phone is always with me so I will immediately notice if it's gone.

lol maybe replace the case or hook thingie he uses to hold his phone?? lol I've lost 2 phones so far, one was actually stolen from my work desk and the other I left in the ladies bathroom. Rushed back after realising that I left it in there, and it was gone. Called it, but it went straight to voice mail. Luckily both iphone3 and iphone4 phones cost me 99c and $1.04. I buy refurbished and it seems to work well for me.
