I love to make and eat pasta salad, and I could eat it almost any time of the day! Since today is Easter I wanted to make pasta salad to take to my parents to share. They know I make it on special occasions and they look forward to it.
I thought I would share my recipe and see if anyone else out there has any they would like to share with me. I like this one because it is light. You can add other items or just keep it very simple. So here is what I do: I start with the color spiral noodles. Rotini. I cook them and drain them in cold water and set them aside. Sometimes while they are cooking I will go ahead and prep everything else. I usually cut up two cucumber into small chunks. You can make them whatever size suits you. Then I also dice a tomato. Once the pasta is cooled completely I will add the vegetables and the pasta in a large bowl. Then I add some seasoning salt to taste and then a bottle of the Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing. That is the very basic salad. Other times I have added some chopped onions, a little garlic, pepperoni or even olives. When serving I usually have shredded cheese near by because a lot of people enjoy a couple sprinkles to top the salad off!
There you go! If you get a chance to try it, let me know how you enjoyed it. If you have any to add, please do so because I am always looking to try new recipes. Happy cooking.

Your pasta salad sounds yummy, i have never made pasta salad though. But i would love to give your recipe a try. I want to make a pasta salad which includes chicken in it. I also love Kraft. All their products are awesome in taste. What i simply love is their mayonnaise. That is just perfect in taste. Thanks for this recipe anyways.

I have never actually made a pasta salad but you have made this sound so good that I am tempted to try it. I would definitely add chopped onions and maybe green and red peppers. Ham too could be aded. Now you have started me improvising it to suit my taste

Your pasta salad sounds really good. I love pasta salads and living in Puerto Rico I can definitely eat this all year round. I would have to add green peppers, carrots and onions to this salad because I love veggies of all kind. I will have to try it one day. I have made almost the same type of pasta salad only I have used olive oil and vinegar with seasoning, instead of Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing.

I love pasta salad and make it when I have a party. I don`t often make it because I live alone and it is the kind of thing that you cannot make in small amounts. I usually use smaller noodles and make my own dressing. I put together olive oil, salt, pepper, dry oregano, homemade mayo a bit of mustard and a bit of vinegar. Usual additions are small green peas, black olives, thinly cut bunch onions (the green part) and sometimes diced cooked carrot.

I love everything pasta! Your pasta salad sounds so delicious, although I don't think I will add some cucumbers in it. I don't know, I am just not too fond of eating cucumbers and even if I want to at times, I just want to munch on it on its own.
