Why Aren't Cable- & Wireless-Services GIVEN to Me for Free?

I feel like calling my ISP (who also does my cable & telephone & WOULD do my wireless if I could pay for it) & asking them that.
I imagine they'd reply "Why should we?" I would reply (something like) 'Because--having conquered death--I am one of your rulers, & the good servant enjoys giving to their rulers' or 'Because you can' or something.
Sure, I conquered death by suffering a brain-injury (that keeps me unemployable & thus unable to order the services) BEFORE cell-phones, other wireless-things, and ... well, cable & telephone had been invented; but I don't know if this particular communications-company had even been conceived-of yet!
And failing that, could someone create a law that all possible services MUST be given to me for FREE when I ask for them?

At which point I might ask them to look at it from my perspective: I die, fight my way back to life only to be treated like another 'brick in the wall.'
... actually, just got off the phone with `em, and asked for 'all services for FREE,' but was too 'nice' (read: wimpy) to tell them WHY I'm more-awesome than all their other customers.
But now it's 'on their records' that they should give me all their services for FREE ... maybe it'll do like when The Doctor told the Prime Minister's a$sistant that the Prime Minister was looking a little tired (resulting in the Prime Minister being 'fired' a month later in that episode of DOCTOR WHO---a show I'll be able to watch again when someone gives me FREE cable )

Because it makes me a member of your ruling royalty, and service to us royals is its own reward

Well, it's kind of like I told my 3-year-old yesterday: just because you want something doesn't mean that you're entitled to have it.
I'm sorry that your disability keeps you from being able to order the services you want. I know how frustrating it is to be unemployable because of an injury and to have to watch where every cent that comes in goes to. I had a really tough time trimming my expenses after I realized I might not be able to work again but I did it because nobody in this world owes me anything.
If you really, really think that you need cable and wireless service, why don't you call your provider and explain your situation? Ask if there are any bundle discounts or promotional rates you can get that will let you get all the services you want for a price you can afford. I bet they'd be a lot more willing to work with you if you approached it from that direction instead of playing the entitlement card.
Oh, there is a government program that gives income-eligible people a discount on either a landline phone or wireless service. You can get one discount per household through the program. http://www.fcc.gov/lifeline
This site shows Lifeline service providers for every state: http://www.lifelinesupport.org/ls/companies.aspx

That sounds more like something I'd ask my mom to look at (if I really wanted it).
But I would HATE to have "Everywhereness." I want to be reachable WHEN I'M AT HOME! I feel like basing a standup-comedy routine on that ... following that statement swiftly with a comment on all the people I see in the audience typing on their little 'digi-phones'---probably totally oblivious to what I'm saying onstage.

You bet if they give it to us for free. ISPs usually do not give free cable wires for free. Been working in a telecom company for months now and been encountering issues from the customers regarding cables wires and stuffs, much as I wanted to provide them free wires especially those wires that has factory defect but well we still need to follow company's protocol that once the wires are already damaged customers need to purchase it to bestbuy and other stores like that. Up until now I still couldn't get the idea why they cannot provide extra wires to customers when in fact they pay for the services.
