Another thing I hate about getting old is,my memory is not always what it has been! Lately I have think I will remember something one minute and forget what i wanted to remmeber the next! I am going to to have to write down more things now! It is not really bad but it is annoying! Example is I had read a discussion on a blog site, I had searched for the site. I thought I would remmeber the site. Not! I can't find the discussion either! I only remember the site started with the work Fan! I wish I had wrote it down nad done that with other things!

You need to buy a supply of post-it-notes. There are a lot of tricks to helping your memory. I can't spell but I have spell check. I can remember what I think I will but don't so I keep a pad and pen close by. And I put post-it-notes on the door, computer, mirror, refrigerator. Where ever.

I do keep a notebook by my computer. I do put notes up to remind of appointments by my bathroom mirror. I'm just will have to train myself to write do down more stuff! Then I need to keep a notebook in my bathroom and car! I sometimes have thoughts I need and want to remember! Aging sucks and I wish it would be easier we get older instead of harder!

I know what you are talking about. Aging is just not fair to us. We forget everything from why we walked into this room to what day it is especially if you are retired. I write down everything from the list to go shopping to things I need or want to accomplish in a day. I was talking about my sister's sister-in-law to my mom and we both couldn't remember her name for nothing. It was not till I called my daughter to ask. She told me the name and I said yes thats it. Can you imagine not remembering someone name. Our aging minds its the first thing to go.

Hey blue...try to not worry about it. It's happening to me too andd I work hard to keep my mind active and I've always had a great memory. It is annoying and frustrating but I know I've done what I can to not let it happen. All I can think is that the food we eat must have something to do with it. Meanwhile, did you look in your "history" for the site?

It has been frustrating with my memory lately but like others have told me,write more stop down! Use post it notes,if I would like to! I am going to look up games to help my brain's memory. I know this is part of ageing but I still worry I don't end up with Alzheimer's like my mom had! One of my biggest fears! No I have not looked at my "history" to find the site. I should do that.

ive always had a bad short term memory and it has only gotten worse as I've gotten older. My long term memory is amazing though. I carry a little note book that has all my phone #s and passwords etc in and I carry another one to remind myself of things I need to do and all. The key is to remember to look at it. I write everything down. If I have a question for someone..I write it down..everything.

This is what I am going to do! Write everything down! I might use post it notes and put notes all over the place! I do have a notebook by my computer and I need to use it more! I still have not remembered the web site I was on which kind of bugs me! Anyway it is something I need to get used to and work at it! Getting older does suck at times!

Loss of memory or being forgetful is normal when a person is getting older. Anyone can experience this. Solutions for forgetting things include taking notes and posting these in an accessible place. It's also good to keep a diary or journal.

What if I say though I am still young I also keep forgetting things? Bad memory can be annoying but something can be done to reduce the influence. Such as try to write down every piece of important information. It is said writing to forget, which means after writing down the information, you don't have to try hard to remember them any more. Notes can help us more than our brain can. What's more, you can set alarm to remind you something important as well.
