I hope that you will have a fantastic time in London and Spain too. Yes, Moldova is a country next door to Romania. A train goes to its capital city, Chisinau, from Bucharest the capital of Romania. I have to take two trains to get there from the Ukraine.

I have found a cheap flight from my country to Vienna in Austria. I plan on spending a couple of days there before I continue to Ukraine and Moldova. At first I had decided to go to Poland first and catch a train from Poland to Ukraine, but I have been to Poland many times and I have never been to Vienna, so I think that it would be interesting to travel to Ukraine via Vienna. I want to visit a couple of places in Ukraine and then I will visit Moldova. From Moldova I have found a flight to Istanbul and I would like to visit Istanbul before I return to my own country. I have often thought about visiting Turkey and I would love to spend a few days there before I return to my own country. I hope to travel in October or November tis year, but I still need the rest of the money for the trip so I am not sure yet.

I have no idea. I got an unexpected expense when they did not notice that my subscription to a learning language course was expiring and so signed me up for another year. It seems you have to cancel it right after you signed for the next year. And that is almost one hundred dollars and I already had put one hundred away for the piano tuning, bought the next song book for the singing lessons I am taking because there was a sale, had bought a new pair of jeans. guess I had to ask the learning language course if I could.
Now if I want to go somewhere other then local, I will have to stop eating organic eat food with soy in it that I have a slight allergy, etc.

20 years ago I would have been nervous about visiting Eastern Europe. I had been to East Berlin, and on the way back somebody dropped a rock on our bus from an overpass. It was really cold with the wind blowing in, and the authorities were not real helpful. Since then, I've met my ex's east German family and visited Prague and a lot of former east German towns. I'd like to get to Budapest one day and to Poland. I have some German letters from 1922 and 1923 written by a cousin who lived in Marienburg (present day Malbork), and I'd love to see how it looks today as well as the little village where my great-grandfather was born and other places mentioned in the letters.

I was planning to go to Vientiane, Laos and Phnom Penh, Cambodia this May. I hope it would push through. But due to some unseen circumstances, I might have to cancel it. Hopefully, everything will turn out ok.

I am not planning to go away this year, mainly because I need to seek employment and when you start a new job it's not always good to say that you are away for a couple of weeks when you are about to start! Already it's April. Last year I went away in September to Great Yarmouth with a friend. I certainly have no plans to go abroad for the forseeable future. I know you are looking forward to your well planned trip, it won't be long now my friend!

I am going to Hong Kong in May. I am planning to get a visa for China too since it's one of the countries I have really wanted to visit. It is so vast that I will have to explore it in chunks. Now I will just be staying in the southern part. Next time I hope I will have more time. But I feel that a lifetime will not be enough to see all of China.
