In 2006 I visited Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. I got a cheap flight to Cancun and moved quickly to see some many different places. I saw reef, coral, Mayan ruins and a cave. In the future I would love to see the Mayan ruins and the Bay Islands in Honduras. Also I am very keen on the idea of visiting Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
Have you see some of a region and dream of seeing more in the future?
Which has been a superbly enjoyable trip for you?

I went on a cruise to Belize, Honduras and Mexico. I would like to see more of Belize. Actually, my sister went on an excursion where we went tubing down a river and saw some Mayan ruins, but I really would have liked to go on another excursion they were offering where there was a possibility of seeing Jaguars.

I loved visiting the region of Cyprus, you could be sitting by the beach with the warm sun on you and the inviting sea in the morning, and in the afternoon you can drive up into the Troodos mountains where there would be snow! We flew into Larnica Airport, and then we stayed in Limassol. Father hired a jeep so we were able to get around and visit other places like Paphos, Ayia Napa, and other beautiful spots with unspoilt beaches. I even got to swim with the fishes just off Ayia Napa, fortunately it was out of season, otherwise Ayia Napa would have been full and too noisy and crowds everywhere, it is very popular with the young folk and revellers. Nicosia is the capital and a couple of hours was all that was needed to see it, it's too much like any town and wasn't that enjoyable there.

Oh that is when we went through the States and went through the Appalacians and saw all the hills and trees with the colors there. I have never been there neither was my husband and we used to live in British Columbia and Saskatchewan and later in Manitoba where the scenery is different, going from coniferous forest to prairie and just starting in decidious trees. And here the mountains are higher. Hardly see any hills unless counting the one made in Saskatchewan. But those hills were wonderful. Too bad we were on the main highway because I wished my husband would turn off and go on one of those side roads.

I`m going to Cancun in August, Maxine. What would you say I should see there? I already went to Tulum, but I want to go to Chichen Itza. The first time I went, I took a tour and it was awful. Now I hope we can rent a car parttime and see some thing by ourselves.

I can see the pyramids of Egypt will be an enjoyable trip for me. I prefer sites that is made my ancient people and with great history. I can imagine how these people moved and used to live from that place a long time go.In my country I would like to visit the underground river in Palawan. Boracay seems so famous but i dont like beaches so I settle for caves or the Twin Lakes in Negros Oriental.
