I am not a native english speaker. I have been learning english since junior school. But I just learned english at class and didn't practise after class. So my english is not good even though I have been studying so many years. How do you learn a foreign language well? Do you learn Chinese? Chinese is very difficult to learn. Well, i am Chinese, to be honest, sometimes I do think chinese is difficult to understand.

I know it is not easy for Chinese to master English well since we don't have such a language environment. However, today due to the internet and everything has become much more convenient. You can have a lot of chances to practise your English online. As you know, practice makes perfect. As long as you often use English, you will make a progress in a short time.

I think that Mylot is a good place to improve your English. If you start and participate in discussions you can learn new words and improve your writing. I am not a native speaker either, but I love to participate anyway, and during my time here I have learned new words and I have also learned a lot of things about other countries and cultures. There are many native speakers here and if you have a question about the English grammar you can ask some of the native speakers for help. Try to write English as much as possible. Maybe you could also find an online friend on one of the penpal sites. That would give you the chance to practice your English through the emails that you exchange.

I only know how to speak two languages. English and Filipino (Tagalog). Tagalog is my native language and the one I use to speak everyday. I learned speaking English in school. I know some words in other languages but I don't know how to form a sentence to them. If given a chance I like to learn other languages.
