Do You feel comfortable to work at night

Hello friends, These days my work schedule is like i work at whole night and sleep in day.I never think good about it,it is not as good as work in day for me. Sometimes i do not feel about good to work at night and i think our body is made to work in day nor to work at night but even various of us work at night because of work schedule.What do you think is it good to work at night for our body and for our life or it is just to work not to take care of our health...

Truly speaking, no body likes to work at nights. Reasons are simple : a) You have to spend the whole morning and evening alone as every body is doing job. b} You have scold every body to keep quiet as you want to sleep, some kind of noise will always occur and that irritates you a lot.

Really thats the point all are the reasons behind that everybody would like to be with family and with friend but it would be exactly opposite if you work at night.

I don't like work at night. Since I want to stay with my family at night. I don't want my biological clock to be messed up, too. Also it will be harder for me to contact my friends since I have to sleep in daytime instead. Besides, I am afraid it will not be safe for me to work at night.

Its funny, a lot of people are alarmed about working at night and I very rarely am that concerned. The other women that work at my hotel hate to be alone here at night and its never fazed me. The gas stations in our area have much more crime than here, if the burgler is intelligent, they realize that hotels deal mainly in credit card sales now.

Hmmm, yes there may be some risk also it all depends on the environment of your city and on the environment of the place where you are working, it can be unsafe as in todays criminal is increasing everywhere but most of the places it is not unsafe to work at night also ....

Hi, I never worked in night shift. my son also has shift duty but he also never has night shift. It is not good for our health. Because it is against nature. Nights are meant for rest and day for work. But we have to work at night because of our job. we have to adjust with the job.

Hi friend, I think work at night is not good for our health, because in the night we tend to meet the cool weather and cool wind that tend to make we unhealthy. Moreover, we cannot get good sleep in the day because we often disturb by some noise of road, neighbor and others, so we cannot get qualified sleep. But, if it is your duty, which is you cannot get other job, i think you should keep your healthy by consume healthy foods and take some exercises. Have a nice day.

Hello there! I just wanted to say that I think our bodies can adjust depending on how we treat them. My boyfriend does the night shift at the McDonalds that is 24hrs here where I live and he is doing just fine with it. He's been doing this for about 5 months now, full time and he sleeps in during the day but as long as he gets enough sleep (7-9hrs) he wakes up and is happy just as if he were working the day shift. Furthermore, he then goes and works the day shift at another restaurant and gets another 5 hours in between the two jobs. This is tough on his body, especially at first, but he is beginning to adjust and is finding it a lot easier now. I think the key is getting enough sleep, a restful one, and having the right intake of food. I also work all night at my transcription job (that's when most of the work is available) and sleep in during the day as well and I function just fine. So as long as we treat our bodies right and keep healthy then I think it can be done in a healthy manner. Our bodies will feel the effects because we do have a biological clock, but as long as we compensate for it then all should be well.

Hello yes i am not saying that really we are going to be ill if we work on night! I am also working at night currently and i take a good diet everyday and i take enough sleep and i am good.But somethings are there which i feel is that it is really different to work at night and to work on day. I really feel more better when i sleep on night, i feel more fresh myself after sleeping in night and to work on days...

Hi srisahara, thanks for a nice advice yes really it is not good for our health but even if we do exercise,sleep enough and take a good diet then there would be less effect on our body..

I think there's anything problem with that, as long you can have that atleast 8 hrs of sleep a day even if its day time. Enough sleep is very important. I do work at night sometimes and I dont see any problem with it. But you can take some vitamins just to make sure.

Yes i agree with you, a proper sleep is necessary if we want to remain healthy and we need to take a good diet like nutritions and vitamins, but it is against of nature it is o.k.if we work of some time in night but if we work for a long time then it can become harmful for our body..

Depends on the work or task to be done, there are task that suited for daylight and some for night time. When i do some writing job, i usually do it at night time, i can concentrate when its night time. But in general i really love to work at night, i'm a nocturnal person so i loved to stay awake at night, my current job i work a day time, hope i will be shifted to night time.

Really we can concenterate more at night at comparison of day but it is really not good for our health to work at night, i like to work at night but i do not want to work at night because i experienced that it is not good for our health..

I hear what you are saying, I currently work as a night auditor working the 11 PM to 7 AM shift at a local hotel. Although I feel I get more downtime and get paid SLIGHTLY more, sometimes the shift really does get me down and I think no matter what, youre body never completely adjusts to that kind of shift. My days off are a struggle sometimes because my body wants to revert back to sleeping at night immediately. I have found that in the warmer months its easier to work nights because I don't dread going outside in the freezing weather. I feel more normal and energetic. The other things is that it's probably not healthy because your body is off it's normal rythm and I find that I often take sleeping pills and no doze type pills to keep myself awake or to go to sleep.

YES Taking pills is not a good option, it is so hazardous for our body, we never should take pills to maintain our schedule if we really find it difficult to work at night and even we do not have any option then we can give some time to exercise,we can start to take a good health diet and try to take enough sleep in day as we do not get the time to sleep at night and like that we can make our body good and we do not feel bad...

Actually i feel good and no one is going to disturb me and i feel quite much energy.So sometimes i get some inspiration and i'm quite excited.Health is the most important thing for me so i have to really careful about that.lol,have a good night.

yes really you can say that working at night is good because we can concenterate more at night because there would be no body to disturb us but we work whole night for some nights then it is really not for hour health as well as our mental health..

As for me, i never work at night before (since I am still study now) but I think our body is amazing, and good at adjusting, according to what our condition, so yeah, even i think our the normal one would be go to work in the morning or day light, but if we don't have any choice and need to work at night, i think it would be okay too, as long if we keep our needs to sleep too. But even i know someone that only sleep about 3-4 hours a day and she is okay.

yes it is depends of us i also know about some persons who really sleep very less and they are o.k. but everybody do not have the same body that he can maintain him/her self according to situation. It is not so bad to work at nigh we can do it if we do not have choice but i think it is really not so good and if we have choice so we should not work at night.If i have choice to work in day or night so i would select day...

Hi there ! It is more beautiful to work in the regular working hours , that is from 8am to 5 pm. Our body can have a full rest in the night but sometimes we got no choice left for us but to work in what is at hand. If it is night , then no choice , it's a compulsion else family might suffer. Sometimes we can't choose because it is the only choice left for us. It is okay friend , sometimes we can't really decide for somethings and we have to set aside ourselves and think more of the others. That is okay someday life will be brighter and better , and this would be the time we can choose. Cheers !

Really it it great to work on normal shift, Our body maintain like that to work on normal shift i mean to work on day and to sleep at night and we never can ignore it, it is really beautiful to work on normal shift and really we can enjoy our life to work in days..

Hi anujkumarkumar1. I've learned that it's best to sleep at 10PM and not later than that but of course if we work offline for a company especially if we work on shifting schedule, we don't have control of that. But I prefer working in the evening online since most of the companies I'm working for is in the USA. They have more work loads at evening time to early morning. There's more earning during evening because of that. I also love night shift since the weather is not that hot. It's summer in my country. There's not much noise around my work area since most people are sleeping. If we work on night time, It will be helpful if we try to sleep at least 8 hours a day. We should exercise everyday, have a healthy diet and mind.

Yes CandyzNikka thanx for advice because i really do not have any option right now my shift timing is also night shift time. I do not have any pressure on my work but even i do not like to work at night because i feel that it is not good for my health to work at night even i am trying to sleep enough and trying to get a good diet and feeling happy ! thanks again for a nice advice...

True. I have friends who are working at the call centers who have the same routine as you. They are living a very odd life because they are working while all the rest of the world is sleeping and they sleep when everyone is awake. ironic , isn't it? I prefer the natural way and it is not hazardous to health as well.

Yes natural way is that we work on day, Everybody know that we made to sleep at night and to work on day but there are some problems in life so everybody is not lucky enough and he/she need to work at night, that is totally opposite of natural laws

I worked for the night shift for four years starting in mid 2003. I didn't really like working the night shift over time because of the lack of sleep plus the noisy neighbours. Luckily I quit that kind of job and went back to the normal office schedule in a new job after that stint.

Really joliefille, You are lucky enough that you found a days shift job, I am in a night shift job and trying to find a job for day shift, because it is really tough for me to schedule my life balance whenever i am working in night shift, I am not able to schedule for my exercise and all also and really this is the problem everywhere i can not complete my sleep because of noisy neighbour and it is really like anthing then my neighbour make a noise in day when i sleep...

Working until midnight is fine, but not after that. But working the whole night is, in my opinion, a terrible thing. All of us require good sleep and only the night is the perfect place for sleep. Nowadays, there are some multinational companies who require people to work during the night. Such companies make people work day and night, which is not good for people’s health.

I am a nocturnal person for years! Lately, I do sleep by midnight and start my day as early is 7. It feels so much healthier like this. Whenever I sleep late then it takes time for me to recover. I really must change my lifestyle and be more vigilant in hitting the sack at night.:)

YES, BUT you are good as you sleep at midnight it means you use to sleep in night here is totally different i use to sleep only on day and not sleep in night even from midnight. It is enough if we sleep at midninght and walk in late morning it is not a bad habit,i hope it is good but if we not sleep whole night then i thinnk it is really bad for our health as did i use to sleep in day only not at night.

When I worked at night I did, but right now I work days unless I have my grand daughter over night but that doesn't happen all that often.

Sometimes I work at night when I have clients that require me to do night shifts. I'm ok to work at night as long as I took a nap in the afternoon. I also don't like seeing other people sleeping while I'm working. Good thing I live alone. I always fight the urge to sleep and I think that I'm more energetic when I'm working on a day shift.

Really if we work at night then our energy go down and we feel some kind of laziness after working at night. Actually i do not hate to work at night it is ok for me if i work at night but there is some harmful thing that really i feel after working at night so i am trying to find a day shift job and i want to work at day not on night..
