They Don't Recognize Effort

In our society today, what is only appreciated and recognize are results, positive results to be specific. The hardships in achieving such might sometimes be ignored and even be criticized if the result is negative. I really find this very unfair and also discriminating because there are some people who exerts all of their best and effort yet the recognition they get cannot compensate it. What do you think?

For sure some people never ever recognise the efforts which we put in and use us as a whole which is worrying all the time,so need to be positive

Results are truly important. But we do learn from the process that make us better.also we may share the happiness and sorrow with our partner. No hard process,no success.failure sometimes is necessary.

Think of it this way: Employee A exerts minimum effort but turns in maximum results. Employee B exerts normal effort but turns in normal results. Employee C exerts maximum effort but no results. If you're the employer, which employee do you think you will promote? Which one will you replace? In this economy, you wouldn't want to pay for someone who doesn't deliver any out put at all. It's like you as a consumer, are you willing to pay for a cheeseburger without the burger and cheese, just the buns and relish? Effort is good, but it will be nothing if someone can exert the same effort and produce a good output.

It is true that efforts are not recognized. This is true not only in the case of student life, but this is also true in the place of work and business. Nobody in the workplace will be bothered about how hard you work. People will see only the results. Nobody will be bothered about how hard a person worked to start his business. If the business brings in a lot of profit, then people will praise. Otherwise, he will be criticized.

Because it's the society's thinking- everyone is looking/waiting for the result. I agree that some people did exert effort but did not come out with result- still we cannot deny that they've put their time, money and dedication. It's really sad- but this is the world we lived in.

I have gone through that for years. And even if I loved working on that job, I just felt I need to give it up. All my efforts gone to the drain. It was much better to spend my time with my kids.

Yes I agree with you here. However, that is how the world is and the only thing we can do is to continue doing our best and not expect any recognition. Just the feeling that we have done our part should be enough. You never know, someone does recognize that effort.
