I was working in google, tryint to get some stories that I could include in my genealogy work. So I chose my Father's name. One thing that really impressed me was the fact that in my home town, an award is given in his name each year for the most interactive attorney in social problems. As I thought about that I thought what a wonderful way to remember my Dad.

I wish I could be proud of my father, but he's just a big waste of space.

I am sorry you feel this way. My father was also a cause of much pain in my life, this is why I was so happy to find, there was another side to his life. No one is here without reason, we all have purpose, even if it is just living through bad karma won in past lives. If I didn't believe this, I would have no hope for humanity. Another thing I have found that even if it is a very small thing, at some time, some where, maybe even in the future, each life has a moment of good that influences the rest of us. Study the most hated people in history and if you look hard enough you will find a positive moment. Look hard it,s worth it.

That is something to be proud of! Your dad must have had a very generous, giving spirit.

Hi pat, you did a good work. In this opportunity you remembered your glorious father. Last month we arranged a function where we remembered our forefathers. We should recall our ancestors who are the base of our present generation.
