Computers have become basic gadgets that we can not do a way with and it's affecting our lives in one way or the other. I have been affected negatively by Computers as I stay till late hours causing my eyes to be irritating. In what ways have the Computers affected your life either positive or negative.

It's great to hear that your Computer doesn't affect you on the negative and that could be attributed to the way you handle your time, most people spend a lot of time in front of their Computers which as a result affect them so much. Keep it up and ensure that you take a lot of break to avoid RSI.

It is good to keep in mind for I find that I don't think about how an activity will affect me while I am very absorbed in it. I tend to just think about the things I am doing and little else. Taking breaks is so important. I do drink a bunch of water and that helps me get away from my desk.

Computers are now part of our lives. Computers are useful we can search easily using internet, it can do our work quickier, we can chat to our friends or families even if they are far from you and so on. But despite of all advantages it has also disadvantages it can cause addiction, like my husband all day he is in front of our computer, playing online games. It can also destroy our eyes. It can also use to scam other people. And so on, use computers in a right way and no our limitations,

You're right that Computer also have negative addiction where one will spend almost all their time in playing games and browsing the internet. The most affected persons are school going student who spend most of their time on Facebook rather than doing research, family are also affected as most couples spend their time more using Computers than with their spouses.

I think like anything I can abuse something or treat it with respect. I know my tv (i guess it is a computer) at times I've watched it too much which is not a good thing but still enjoy a movie for entertainment or a documentary for education. My car I think is much too expensive but it brings me places.
If I don't have a purpose for my PC then it will be a mere gadget. To affect my life in a positive way I have to find ways to make it beneficial.

I think the computer has affected me both in a positive and negative way. It has helped me bridge the distance and keep in touch with my family and friends from afar. It certainly helped do my work and studies better. But because computers are also a great source of entertainment, I have become so addicted to it that my physical activities diminished and that my eyes are also affected. Everything should be in moderation.

I've become quite reliant on computer. If anything, I now use computer everyday.
I think it's positive thing at the times, but negative too. I've met a lot of wonderful people because I've been using computer, but at the same time, I've been having a bad sleeping schedule.
I think computer is a neutral thing, that becomes positive or negative depending on how the person uses it.
