and they are like twins, i am referring to north and south Korea. they are at war right now and it is sad, yes sad that these two countries are fighting... i am not clear to what their causes are but it is a bit shameful. quite honestly. i mean these two are progressing, advance in technologies.. but just end in war?
i really really wonder what happened to humanity.. sad.

The North Korean leader is a fool on a power trip. He is not only threatening the South, but also the rest of the world, especially the U.S. He is a 23 year old brat that is going to bring a lot of hurt on his country if he continues in this vein.

It's what you call "sibling rivalry". There some type of jealousy that has started over a dozens of years ago and just like how Christians and Muslims fight, they don't even know why they're fighting. They just fight because they're used to fighting each other. hehehe..

So true, its like going on fro decades that it comes to a point where the real reason becomes pointless.

Hi, laydee:
Hi, jazel:
Why not say, that there is a third party or In other words others parties, have an stakeholders in the continuation of this war.
This confirms, what is happening in the Arab countries of instability, after the revolutions that ended the corrupt rule.
Emphasize that there is a third party is not of his interests to the stability of those countries.

This is the result of the fact that the communism is still persisting in the world. My country managed to get rid of the communist system 23 years ago, but the effects of that era are still acknowledgeable. In my opinion, any war is pointless and young, innocent population is dying for the pleasure and interest of a few men. My country has lost many territories in the second world war and although those people are talking the same language as us and they consider us brothers we can't be again a whole country.

I am so sorry to hear that, I think war is the worst condition, because we will always worry and worry, we cannot focus for work and build our future goal. I hope you be patient with the condition. Have a nice day.

War is always wrong, whatever reason it is being fought for. Those who start one need to think of the lives they will be taking away. There is a cost to be paid and if they realise the full cost and how they will have to pay for it, they will certainly not do something so foolish.

It seems that man has absolutely no capacity for peace, there's always wars going on, as we have learnt throughout history, the world has never seen peace reign. Wasn't North Korea threatening America? I guess it depends if other countries get embroiled into the war between the North and the South, and what countries ally themselves with North Korea if it does escalate.

I saw the DMZ area on a travel program. I looked it up on-line and it is not for children. I think South Korea is a normal country and North Korea is very strange. It is so awful if they are at war again. I feel sorry for the people that live in North Korea.

If the reports are accurate, the people of North Korea are starving! And it is against international law to go in and execute a despot. Perhaps it is feared nations will be executing one another's leaders for political and territory reasons! But somehow I would think the 'civilized' world could come up with checks and balances to keep it in order, and rid the world of its madmen when they ascend into seats of much power. It doesn't seem right to just let peoples be oppressed and worse, in some cases killed off.. but nobody mentions it and minds their own business.. Yes, the whole thing is truly very sad..

Actually I am angry with North Korea much more. It seems that it started it at first. Perhaps after they have a young crazy leader now and therefore people have to pay for his mistake. There are many people who are starving in North Korea. The leader doesn't try to solve it but starting a war. He is just so crazy. I hope that South Korea will unite the whole Korea.

hi there,
same as you are, i am also confused as to the reason why they are at war. i guess, you are right, they are like twin wherein, the other will not find peace not unless his/her twin will step down or give way.

which is sad because these two countries should be independent of each other and must not fight.. but i guess their fighting has been there for years now

It's sad, that the two twin countries will now be at war. We all know that when a country is at war, all those infractures and lives cannot be avoided to be caught in the crossfire.
I hope this could still be stopped. Let's all pray that this will be stopped lest it will escalate and affect its neighboring countries.

Last night, i saw on the news that one of those twin countries opened their nuclear factory again to prepare for more nuclear weapons. scary.

And i guess it's North Korea who does that. It's really scary because it might affect the neighboring countries if ever it will be used.
Let's just all pray that it won't happen.

No need for them to fight. Both will lose in the long run. I wish they would both come together in the word of peace.

Don't be mad at me, but you are somehow uninformed.
They are acutally in war since 1950 and they've never stoped that war, they never signed a peace, they've only had signed a ceasefire.

They arent in war yet... but the situation is brewing up. Control of Power and going against the diktats of many organizations will be the reason if they ever start the war... And yes, though it is sad that the world would have to face more troubles if the war happens - it might be a nuclear war as things stand as of now - millions would suffer unnecessarily... but wars were always meant for destruction of millions even if they were unwilling and non-involved.
And there is no humanity anywhere... war has been going on since ages - Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan, Cyprus...

Well yes i did thought of that, that over the years war was necessary for some in fact but then i always believe our generation nowadays should know better, with everyone so education and more aware of what humanity should be right? i mean it is something boggling.
Yes they are not at war YET but with words flying here and there, they already started it. Sad and sad also for my Filipino brothers and sisters who are in Korea that they need to leave their work and prepare to come back home without work
