Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you guys/gals know that I have recently started working for a transcription company. Now I am currently working at home while my boyfriend works two full time jobs, so we are trying to save money for our trip to Texas in September. This is what drove me to find a job that I actually would enjoy doing, and not feel the need to go out into the world and get a boring 9-5 day job that I hate.
So, I joined Transcribeme.com and am starting to actually make some money which is great.
The only thing that they require is that you have an internet connection (obvi), and a Paypal account that is verified. If you don't have a paypal account then they cannot send you the money, however it is incredibly easy to set up, so don't let that hold you back. The other cool thing is that you can live anywhere in the world, they will accept you no matter what your country is.
You will have to do a test, but it is simple. They have guidelines that you have to follow, but this really doesn't take much to get the hang of.
They pay out every Monday, $20 for every audio hour (yes not in time spent, but in minutes transcribed), and it can take up to 48 hours to get your payment. I have gotten my payment by midnight on each Monday. So no qualms there :).
Most of the time there is work, sometimes there is not. But that will come with any job that you do at home. I usually find work at night and it works for me since I can never seem to sleep at night.
So, if you can type fast, have a keen ear, and don't mind sitting at your computer desk listening to audio files over and over, then check it out!
I will post a paypal image and highlight the two payments that I have received so far.

The website you describe is awesome, i use it too and i just absolutely love it. Been paid and everything.
Only thing i wanted to add is that you dont have to have a verified paypal account, ive been paid by them and my paypal is un-verified.
Great Share Kementari :)

@LegalAlien: When do you find that most work is available? I am finding that it is a night time, which works out great for me since I am a night hawk lol.
Ah, well thank you for point that out! My Paypal is verified so I guess that doesn't matter, but that's definitely good that its not absolutely needed.
Thank you :)
@Jazel: let me know what you think :).

Once you registered and verified the registry, you should be able to login and then it'll ask you to do a test. You do this test by hitting the play button on the audio file that is provided, make sure your speakers are turned up so you can hear it and then just write what is said in the text box provided. Then hit submit.
