It's very important to organize your folders, but for te very important files you would be best off saving them in more than one place.Say your computer crashes all those files are gone.I would recommend getting a backup hard drive and every week or so copy all your important files and put them on a backup drive.

I use taggedfrog to help arrange my files. One feature included is auto-tagging. I'm using it for a few days only but the power of this program is obvious. In order to tag a file, just drag and drop it to the window.

It's normally difficult for people to organize their work and save them in right folder. I sometime get it difficult and most of the time have my work scattered all over the desktop which even makes it very difficult to find files at the right time when needed.

Yep, that's really important. You also need to give a meaningful name for each files so you won't get another hard time in searching a particular file.
In addition, try to create a folder that works as your "sandbox" folder. If you're such in hurry, put any kinds of new files there. And later on, you can rearrange the files into the appropriate folders.

Hi friend, good to hear about this, we must save the file in the proper folder to access them in a quick manner. If we save the files in random manner, it is really hard to find them within a glance as well as short period. As you mentioned you will arrange the files in the correct folder whenever time permits, it is the good practice and keep it up

Mines in a mess as well. What has worked for me is if I group and create folders and then place them. To help sort them I sort them by file type or name. After I'm done then I can filter through the rest. Just don't let too many mixed fold in one folder.

Hello, yeah saving files to proper folders is really necessary to keep your files organize. Since if you just place your files anywhere, then suddenly you need to access that file, you'll waste precious time looking for it, or keep on using the search tool which can also be a hassle sometimes. Thus, organizing your files by placing them in their respective folders will save you time when you need to access this files.

I think it is a good idea to arrange your file, so you can easy to call them when you want to open one of them. I always create new folder if i have new file that different with other files. Now, I easy to find them if I want to read.
