May 2013 elections here in the Philippines, is there cheating happen?

More on politician find many ways just to win for the people and hear there thoughts when they campaign and make a rally. The politician will promised all of the people needs, etc. and etc. so that people in their place believed and vote them.
As I know, if a politician buy a votes from people then chances he/she corrupt like what I know near in my place. The politician buy 1 votes equivalent to 500 php and really he win. But after he wins in the election and become the leader of his place, many people are complaining about the entrance fee of their basketball court. Because the price was doubled after he seats on the position and that was too bad for the people who get carried away of money to the politician. However, most of people like politicians who buy votes in a good price but the result is facing more financial problems.
I hope no cheating happens in this May 2013 elections here in the Philippines and vote wisely! what can you share?

I really don't know why many politician don't want to loose their position! because of money? and how they make more money? that's interesting... what if someday we also want to enter the world of politics and becomes one of them, do we need to corrupt also to make us wealthy living? that's unanswerable in my part, hahah...

There is just so much corruption occurring within the government nowadays that it's hard not to think about any cheating taking place during the elections. I do hope that some politicians are truly worth voting for and that they are not corrupt like the others.

Sometimes I wonder why people join the politics. Even questioned their motives. In our place, during election, people received an amount ranging from 5,000 - 10,000 per head. Is it really important to be in the position? Why do they have to pay that amount? I don't know in some places. All I can say, since we cannot do anything about their motives, we can be of help if we pray for them. Pray for the betterment of our country.

we as Filipinos should be more responsible for our votes.. we should be aware of those who buys vote is the one we should not vote actually because more or less if they win they will gonna take back all those money they pay for and it will doubled and in the end the people will suffer more like what happened in your place.. our voting system now is computerize so i hope this means clean election rather than a cheat prone election..

Cheating will always be present in every election as long as there are corrupt and power greedy politicians in the government. They will do all possible things just to have a place in the government. People shouldn't agree to the politicians to buy their vote in exchange of just a small cash.
