Luckily I have not had such an experience of staying at the bus station for that long. Usually I prefer to buy a bus ticket a few days or one day ahead of time in case I can buy a ticket at the right hour I wish to leave. By the way, we have a bus every fifteen minutes from our long bus station to another city. It is nice and convenient.

I have never experienced this on a bus terminal, because we rarely take the bus anymore. But we have experienced waiting for 10 hours for our flight because of some delays. It was terrible. I feel like I can already smell myself and I badly need a bath.

It was such a pity that you got stranded last week. It must have been awful to spend 24 hours at the bus terminal. At peak times like Easter transport gets more busy than usual.
Last year I was in South America with my two young children. We had a fun Easter weekend in Rio then all buses were full for days. We had our flight from Argentina to home to worry about. In the end all we could do was fly to Port Alegre. We stayed overnight there before getting an overnight bus to Buenos Aires.

hi there asliah,
i haven't trapped yet in a situation like that one you have discussed. though there were so many times that we have traveled by bus. but, i haven't try to do a bus travel during the lenten week. thus, the only travel we did last holy week was the Bisita Iglesia. we did it through the churches which is somehow near to each other.
