It is a common thing here in our country, that people from different parties(teams) last election joined the opposing party since they realized that they cannot win against them or they need funds for their campaign. One of the qualifications needed to be a politician is definitely a thick face, and this saying truly applies to politics. It would be nice if many people ran to make a change and serve the people and not just fill their pockets.

It is hard to look at politics now days with anything but a shake of the head. I don't trust any of them any more. I would never give money to any of there campaigns. I just find it too hard to believe in any of them. Filling their pockets is too often the case. Them thinking they are better than the rest of the population. Them being about to vote themselves raises.

Some people give money to politicians? The situation is quite the opposite here. Politicians spend a lot of money to buy the votes of the people and they spend so much more for their commercials and stuff they stick to the wall.

hope so, most of them don't keep their promise, when they are already in the position, they forgot what they promise to the people, if their superior is corrupt they also join and become corrupt, this is hard to understand why politicians are like that, they don't realize that they will again run for the next election, or they just don't care about their dignity and to think that they have amazing family back ground, and they act like that. Hope politicians now will change for the better future.

Well, all we can do is hope.. since many people still succumb to vote buying, which is why the same useless politicians always win.. And the people do not realize, or do not care at all that when they are in the position, they will steal from us.. and not serve the people at all.

Sad but it's true. Many politicians (if not all) here in the Philippines only cares about their welfare (or we could say pocket welfare). They will side to the party that they feel they have a greater chance of winning. And after election is finished, they will oppose this party. They are hypocrites. I wish one day, there will be a politician that would be a politician of the people and not a politician of his self only.

Definitely hypocrites.. I really wonder why karma has not hit them.. and why people never learn.. Especially with Erap and the Marcoses.. why they still support and vote these kind of people.. Knowing their history..

I even heard in the news just a few hours ago that many Filipinos would give their ote just for 500 pesos.. which is quite cheap.. since they also cheer the politicians on, vote for them and encourage others.

They are always wining because of their money and popularity. Many of the voters here in the Philippines tend to favor those who are famous even though they have done something wrong
